TCL will bring three new projectors to the Czech Republic. All are easily portable and feature Google TV

The TCL brand is set to expand its offering on the Czech market with three new portable projectors. All models share support for the Google TV platform, Full HD resolution, and automatic functions for the simplest possible image setup. Aside from their construction, they primarily differ in brightness and audio performance.

TCL PlayCube: An unconventional cube with 750 lumens brightness

The TCL PlayCube model is definitely the most interesting at first glance. Its cube-shaped design stands out, and with its dimensions of 95 × 95 × 145 mm and a weight of just 1.36 kg, it’s great for travel. Although it’s the smallest projector of the trio, it boasts a brightness of 750 ISO lumens and 0.33″ DMD technology. The projector can display an image with a diagonal of 30 to 150 inches with a throw ratio of 1.21:1.

Notable features include a Cortex-A53 quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, and 16 GB storage. Connectivity is provided by a USB-C port with Power Delivery support, a classic USB-A 2.0, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio output. Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0 are also present. The audio output is 5 W with Dolby Digital+ support.

The PlayCube is particularly suitable for travelers and users seeking maximum portability. Thanks to USB-C PD support, the projector can even be powered by a power bank, but with a three-hour battery life, you can watch a full-length movie without needing to connect the device to a power source.

TCL Projector C1: Entry-level model with 230 lumens brightness

The TCL Projector C1 model uses a 3″ LCD panel and offers a brightness of 230 ISO lumens. The projector can display an image size of 40 to 120 inches with a contrast ratio of 1500:1. Its dimensions are 138.4 × 145.2 × 230.7 mm, making it the mid-range model in the lineup.

The hardware features a MediaTek MT9630 processor with Mali-G52 graphics, 2 GB RAM, and 16 GB storage. The projector includes an HDMI 2.1 port, USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio output. The speaker has an output of 8 W with Dolby Digital support. Power consumption reaches 65 W, which is the lowest of the trio.

The TCL Projector C1 targets casual users and families with children. Lower brightness limits its use to evening screenings or well-darkened rooms. Advantages include low power consumption and quieter operation with noise levels below 30 dB.

TCL Projector A1S: The largest model with two speakers

The most powerful TCL Projector A1S uses a 4.45″ LCD display with a brightness of 600 ISO lumens. It can project images ranging from 45 to 150 inches while maintaining Full HD resolution. With dimensions of 191.3 × 128.1 × 263.6 mm and a weight of 2.57 kg, it is the largest model of the trio.

The projector shares the MediaTek MT9630 processor with the C1 model but offers a pair of 8W speakers with a total output of 16 W and Dolby Digital+ support. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm jack. Power consumption reaches 120 W, and the manufacturer states the LED light source lifespan as 10,000 hours.

Thanks to its higher brightness and better sound quality, the A1S model is suitable for home theaters and larger rooms. The pair of speakers ensures better stereo sound without the need for external audio equipment. Higher brightness allows viewing even with partial lighting.

Common features of all models

All three projectors offer autofocus, keystone correction, and the Auto Screen-In function for adapting the image to the projection surface. The PlayCube and A1S models also feature automatic obstacle avoidance and eye protection. Thanks to the Google TV platform, users have access to apps like Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and more.
