When we wrote about the discount on the Vivo X300 Pro in February, it could be purchased for 25,491 CZK with a promo code at Datart. Now it’s even cheaper — on Heureka from 24,937 CZK without the need for any code. From its launch price of 34,990 CZK, it’s a drop of exactly ten thousand. And at that price, the X300 Pro is one of the most interesting camera phones you can buy in the Czech Republic.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if the camera is your number one priority — the 200Mpx periscopic Zeiss telephoto lens has no competition at this price.
⚠️ Consider that the 5,440 mAh battery won’t last a full day of intensive photography, and the phone heats up noticeably under load.
💡 For 24,937 CZK you get Dimensity 9500, 16 GB RAM, 512GB storage, a titanium frame, IP68/IP69, and 5 years of updates.

Excellent Camera

The trio of sensors under the Zeiss brand is the main reason the X300 Pro exists. The periscopic 200Mpx telephoto lens with 3.5× optical zoom produces images that would stand up even in comparison with a more expensive mirrorless camera. Digital zoom is usable up to 10×, and portraits with the Zeiss bokeh effect look professional. The main 50Mpx Sony LYT-828 sensor excels at night thanks to the Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating, which effectively suppresses reflections from street lamps and backlighting.

If you take a lot of photos and care about what you get from your phone — the X300 Pro is among the top three camera phones on the Czech market. And now it’s by far the cheapest of them.

Performance and Display

MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (3nm) with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage — over 3.4 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. The 6.78″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 px and a brightness of 4,500 nits is one of the brightest on the market, with Dolby Vision support. The ultrasonic fingerprint reader responds almost instantly. The construction with a titanium frame and IP68/IP69 resistance complements the premium impression.

Where it falters

The 5,440 mAh battery is decent on paper, but in combination with powerful hardware and a bright display, intensive photography will give you about 6 hours of active use. 90W charging helps, topping up the phone in half an hour. Under prolonged load, the phone heats up noticeably and performance drops — it’s not an ideal choice for demanding gamers. On the other hand, software support with 5 years of updates + 7 years of security patches is above average.
