The monitor is already available for pre-sale on Chinese JD.com for 1399 yuan, which is approximately 4,100 Czech crowns. The regular price will then rise to 1799 yuan (about 5,200 CZK). However, it is not yet clear whether it will also come to Europe. USB-C with 90W power delivery solves cable clutter For this price, you get a 27-inch IPS panel with 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels), but the most interesting feature is undoubtedly the USB Type-C port with 90W reverse charging. A single cable between the monitor and the laptop is enough – it transmits video, data, and simultaneously charges the laptop with up to 90 watts of power. This will be especially appreciated by MacBook or premium ultrabook owners, who won’t need to deal with an additional adapter. In addition to USB-C, the monitor also features two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 2.0 for accessories, and a headphone jack. Factory-calibrated colors, but only 60 Hz The panel covers 100% sRGB and 93% DCI-P3 color space, which are solid values. Xiaomi also guarantees a color deviation of ΔE less than 1 – meaning that with the naked eye, you won’t notice a difference between the displayed and actual color. The monitor can display up to 1.07 billion colors thanks to its 10-bit color depth. On the other hand, the refresh rate remains at a basic 60 Hz. This is sufficient for office work and photo editing, but if you occasionally play games, it might limit you. HDR works on paper, but in practice, it’s nothing to write home about The monitor has DisplayHDR 400 certification, which is the most basic level of HDR. While its maximum brightness of 400 nits meets the minimum requirements, it’s far from a true HDR experience. For comparison, quality HDR monitors start at 600 nits brightness, and top-tier models even exceed 1000 nits. Here, it’s more of a marketing item on the feature list. This will be appreciated during long hours in front of the screen. The monitor also features thin bezels on three sides and 178-degree viewing angles typical for IPS panels. The stand can do everything, including pivot to portrait mode The fully adjustable stand is a pleasant surprise – you can change the height, tilt, swivel, or use the monitor in portrait mode. The software automatically detects the orientation and adjusts the image, so you don’t have to deal with any settings. Of course, the monitor can also be wall-mounted using a standard VESA bracket.
