When you’re using navigation or taking photos outdoors, you don’t want to also keep an eye on a cable between your phone and power bank. The Choetech B822 magnetically attaches to a compatible phone or case and wirelessly recharges it. It has a capacity of 10,000 mAh and now costs 664 CZK with code ALZADNY30 on Alza. It’s particularly interesting for everyday carry, where convenience is valued more than a huge power reserve in a backpack.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense: as a backup for your phone for a full day out, if you don’t want to deal with a cable while charging.
⚠️ Consider: the phone must support wireless charging; for attachment, it needs compatible magnets in the body or case.
💡 Via USB-C, it can deliver up to 20 W. Wireless 15 W is the maximum, not the guaranteed speed for every phone.

Magnets for convenience, USB-C for faster charging

Magnetic attachment has a practical advantage: you don’t have to hold your phone and power bank as two separate items while moving. Choetech states MagSafe compatibility; for phones without their own magnets, a suitable magnetic case for wireless charging can be used.

The power bank weighs 181 g and is 17 mm thick, so the phone will feel noticeably heavier in hand with it attached. If you’re in a hurry, you can opt for a USB-C cable and use Power Delivery charging up to 20 W. The power bank itself is also recharged via the same connector, accepting up to 18 W input. According to the manufacturer, it contains a semi-solid battery.

Without the code, Alza prices this model at 949 CZK. By entering ALZADNY30, you reduce it to 664 CZK.

Do you prefer charging your phone wirelessly, or do you stick with a cable?
