The POCO F8 series might arrive this year! It will offer top-notch sound and excellent performance Home News POCO F8 Pro will get a Bose sound system, a leaked box confirms it It is likely a rebadged Redmi K90, while the F8 Ultra will be the K90 Pro Max The charger will no longer be included in the package, especially in European markets Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 9. 11. 2025 03:30 Advertisement In recent years, the Poco brand has stuck to a simple strategy: it takes a successful phone from the Chinese Redmi series, renames it slightly, possibly modifies the software, and sells it in Europe under its own name. It works, so why change it. According to a leaked photo of the box and certifications from various authorities, it seems that Poco F8 Pro will be a rebadged Redmi K90 and the F8 Ultra will correspond to the K90 Pro Max model. The main evidence is the Bose logo on the box, which is found on the K90 series phones in China. Box photo reveals Bose sound Redmi rebranding is nothing new No more charger in the box When can we expect it? Box photo reveals Bose sound Today, a photo of part of a box, allegedly belonging to the Poco F8 Pro, appeared online. The most interesting detail? The Bose logo. You’ll find the exact same logo on the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max, which Xiaomi introduced last month in China. The K90 Pro Max even features a unique 2.1 stereo system with three speakers, one of which is located directly on the back of the phone. If Poco truly adopts the hardware specifications from the Chinese models, we will get a phone in Europe with a significantly better sound system than what we are used to from this brand. Redmi rebranding is nothing new Poco has been doing this for years, and there’s nothing wrong with it. The Poco F7 Pro was a rebadged Redmi K80 Pro, the F6 Pro was based on the K70, and the F5 on the K60. The system works because Chinese Redmi phones offer solid hardware for reasonable money, but they are not officially sold in Europe. Poco thus uses a ready-made formula and adds global Android without Chinese restrictions. According to available information, both models – F8 Pro and F8 Ultra – have passed certifications in several countries, indicating an imminent market launch. Originally, it was expected that the successors to last year’s F7 models would arrive around March 2026, but certifications are already underway. Poco might therefore be preparing a surprisingly quick launch. No more charger in the box Today’s leaks also claim that the Poco F8 Pro will not include a charger in the package. It’s not entirely clear if this applies globally or only to Europe, where chargers have been disappearing from boxes for a few years now. Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi – they all do it, citing ecology and material savings. For Poco, however, this is a relatively new shift. While flagships got rid of chargers long ago, the F series held onto them longer. The question is whether Poco will at least replace it with a discount code for accessories, as competitors sometimes do, or simply say that you probably have an old one at home anyway. When can we expect it? The Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra were introduced in March 2025, so it could be expected that the F8 series would also arrive sometime in the spring. However, certifications suggest that it could be significantly earlier. Perhaps as early as the beginning of 2026, or even this year, if Poco decides on a surprise pre-Christmas launch. Prices are not yet known, but it can be assumed that the F8 Pro will cost between 12,000 and 15,000 CZK, while the F8 Ultra could climb up to 20,000 CZK. Would you buy a Poco with a Bose speaker?
