Looking for a wireless mouse for shooters with a budget under a thousand usually means compromising on either the sensor or the build quality. Now, that doesn’t have to be the case. You can buy the Rapture WRAITH Wireless with code ALZADNY40 for 839 Kč instead of the usual 1,399 Kč and get a mouse that weighs 59 grams, communicates with the computer up to 4,000 times per second, and connects via a receiver, Bluetooth, or cable.

Quick summary:
✅ Go for it if you want a lightweight wireless mouse for gaming and work and don’t want to pay more for it than for a new game.
⚠️ Be aware that customers only half-praise the software, and a few report issues with the left button.
💡 For 839 Kč, you’re getting the lowest price Alza has ever sold this mouse for, plus a three-year warranty.

Get the Rapture WRAITH now at its historically best price

The WRAITH Wireless usually sells for 1,399 Kč, and in the last promotion, Alza discounted it to 979 Kč. The current offer goes even lower: with code ALZADNY40, it comes out to 839 Kč, which is 560 Kč less than the regular price and 140 Kč less than in the previous promotion. This mouse has never been cheaper on Alza.

Rapture is Alza’s own gaming brand, and the mouse comes with a three-year warranty instead of the statutory two years. Over 1,000 units have already been sold, so it’s not a new product that no one has experience with.

Sensor from more expensive mice and 59 grams

Movement is tracked by the PixArt PAW 3395 optical sensor, which can also be found in many significantly more expensive gaming mice. The manufacturer states a sensitivity of up to 26,000 DPI, but you can only switch up to 6,400 DPI with the button, and higher values are set in the software (honestly, you won’t need them for gaming). More important are the tracking speed of 650 IPS and acceleration of 50G, with which the sensor, according to the manufacturer, can handle even rapid flicks across the entire mouse pad.

Response is handled by the Nordic 52833 microcontroller and a polling rate of up to 4,000 Hz in wireless mode; via cable, the manufacturer states 1,000 Hz. Bluetooth 5.3 is more suitable for working with a laptop, while the included 2.4GHz receiver is better for gaming. Thanks to three modes, you can connect it to up to three devices, and the package also includes a braided 1.5m USB-C cable and spare glides.

The symmetrical body weighs 59 grams, so your hand won’t get as tired during long gaming sessions. The main buttons feature Huano Green Shell White Dot switches with a stiffer, distinctly clicky press, and the manufacturer promises up to 100 million clicks for them. You can reprogram five buttons in the Czech software, where you can also set macros or the lift-off distance (1 or 2 mm).

Customers praise weight and battery, but less so the software

On Alza, the mouse has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 40 customers, and 88% of them recommend it. In written reviews, the most frequently mentioned positives are its low weight, comfortable shape, and smooth glide across the mouse pad. One buyer appreciates that the mouse doesn’t creak even with strong pressure on the sides, and according to them, the battery dropped by only 55% over about a week and a half at 1,000 Hz in power-saving mode. Customers also praise the wireless connection via both receiver and Bluetooth.

Most complaints are directed at the software, which is functional but unpolished. Buyers mention that the correct version was hard to find, that the battery status sometimes shows incorrectly, and that an administrator permission prompt appears every time the computer starts. Fortunately, the mouse remembers its settings, so the program doesn’t have to run constantly. Minor complaints also include the large 2.4GHz receiver, stiff cable, and overly large glides.

When to look elsewhere?

Three out of thirteen reviewers report issues with the buttons, most often the left one: it got stuck, dragged, or sometimes didn’t respond, for two of them after just two to three months. The return rate of 4.78% suggests that these are not entirely isolated cases. For an inexpensive mouse with a three-year warranty, this might not be a cause for alarm, but anyone who plays competitively daily should be aware of it.

Consider another option if the lowest possible weight is your priority. For example, the Rapture SCOURGE is lighter, which we recently wrote about. And anyone who wants polished software and the ecosystem of a major gaming brand won’t get it for 839 Kč.

Who will benefit from the WRAITH for 839 Kč?

The Rapture WRAITH Wireless makes the most sense for gamers who want to switch from an inexpensive wired mouse to a lightweight wireless one and don’t want to spend thousands on it. It will also be appreciated by students or anyone who switches the mouse between a gaming PC and a laptop, as it connects to both without re-plugging the receiver. For 839 Kč with code ALZADNY40, you get features that usually cost significantly more from major brands, you just have to put up with less polished software.

Do you game with a wireless mouse, or do you still trust the cable?
