Almost any scooter will serve you well on a smooth bike path. However, as soon as your commute takes you over cobblestones, broken asphalt, or a stretch of dirt road, you’ll start thinking about wheels and suspension. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Pro has both, and with code ALZADNY10, you can now buy it on Alza for 12,599 CZK instead of 13,999 CZK. It also promises a range of up to 70 km.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense if you ride longer distances on rougher surfaces and want a range that won’t require charging every evening.
⚠️ Consider the weight of 27.3 kg, which requires mandatory insurance, and charging time of around nine hours.
💡 For 12,599 CZK, you get the same large battery as the more expensive Max model, just without the color display and rear disc brake.

Code ALZADNY10 takes off 1,400 CZK

The minimum price before the promotion on Alza was 13,999 CZK. Code ALZADNY10 will deduct a tenth from it, so you will pay 12,599 CZK and save 1,400 CZK. Compared to Xiaomi’s official e-shop, where the scooter costs 14,399 CZK, the difference is even four hundred crowns greater.

This year, Xiaomi brought five scooters from the Electric Scooter 6 series to the Czech Republic, as we wrote in March. The Pro model stands between the urban “six” and the more powerful Max and Ultra versions. On Alza, it has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 15 customers, all of whom recommend it, and over 500 units have been sold.

Off-road wheels and suspension for rough roads

The main reason to opt for the Pro version is the chassis. The scooter stands on 12-inch off-road tires with a coarse tread, which, according to the manufacturer, should not slip on gravel or dirt. A ground clearance of 143 mm then helps over curbs and roots.

At the front, there is a double spring suspension with 40 mm travel, and at the rear, a central spring shock absorber. Don’t expect miracles on rough cobblestones, but it will absorb bumps more than a rigid fork. The platform is 75 cm long and rises into a slight kicktail at the back, so you can reposition your feet while riding.

The rear brushless motor has a rated power of 400 W and a peak power of up to 1,000 W. Xiaomi states a climbing ability of 22%, but this was measured with a rider weighing 75 kg. A heavier rider will likely be slower on a steep hill. The maximum speed is the legal 25 km/h in sport mode; modes with limits of 15 and 6 km/h are also available.

How far does it really go?

The battery has a capacity of 10 Ah, or 468 Wh, and the manufacturer states a range of up to 70 km. However, this applies to riding at a constant speed of 15 km/h with a 75 kg rider, in calm conditions and at 25 °C. If you ride at full speed of 25 km/h, expect approximately 40 to 45 km, according to Xiaomi. Even that is more than enough for city commuting.

The manufacturer also boasts lower consumption. The previous Scooter 5 Pro had a similarly sized battery and promised 60 km, while the new model, according to Xiaomi, has a consumption of 6.69 Wh per kilometer instead of 7.95 Wh. We cannot independently verify this, but the difference in the stated range corresponds.

Two features that affect range and safety are turned off by default. You must enable recuperation and TCS traction control in the Xiaomi Home app, where you can also lock the motor or download firmware updates. According to Alza, a full charge takes approximately 9 hours, so the scooter will mostly be on the charger overnight.

With 27 kilograms, also count on mandatory insurance

The scooter weighs 27.3 kg. You wouldn’t want to carry it to the third floor without an elevator every day, and even transporting it on public transport won’t be pleasant. Furthermore, the weight exceeds the 25 kg limit, above which mandatory insurance is required for electric scooters. It will cost a few hundred crowns annually, but you must arrange it.

Compared to the more expensive Max and Ultra models, you’ll find a few savings here. At the rear, only the E-ABS electronic brake is present; the disc brake is only at the front. A color display and Apple Find My support are also missing. IPX5 rating protects it from splashing water, but according to the manufacturer, you should preferably avoid riding in rain and puddles.

Is the 6 Pro worth it for 12,599 CZK?

The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Pro for 12,599 CZK with code ALZADNY10 is a reasonable choice for anyone who rides longer distances on cobblestones, broken asphalt, or unpaved roads and has a place to leave the scooter. If you don’t need a color display and a rear disc brake, I would take it over the more expensive Max. Anyone who rides a few kilometers on a smooth bike path and has to carry the scooter up stairs will save their back and money on insurance with a lighter urban model.

Do you only ride your scooter on asphalt, or are you not afraid to venture onto a dirt road?
