Now, both devices have appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database (noted on X by enthusiast Abhishek Yadav), confirming their imminent arrival in markets outside China. The tablets are expected to debut in early March along with the Xiaomi 17 series. Geekbench reveals performance The base Xiaomi Pad 8 (25097RP43G) relies on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor with Adreno 825 graphics. In tests, it achieved 2,042 points in single-core, 6,145 points in multi-core, and 13,506 points in OpenCL. It will run on Android 16 with 8 GB RAM. The global version of Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro (designation 25091RP04G) achieved 2,940 points in the single-core and 8,759 points in the multi-core test in the benchmark. In the OpenCL graphics test, it scored 17,657 points. Certification confirms the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Adreno 830 graphics, 8 GB RAM, and also the Android 16 system. What we know about the tablets Both tablets share an 11.2″ LCD display with a resolution of 3200 × 2136 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits brightness. They feature a 9,200mAh battery, with the Pad 8 supporting 45W charging and the Pad 8 Pro a faster 67W. Also included are Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a quad-speaker setup, and USB-C 3.2 Gen 1. The Pro model will offer a 50Mpx main and 32Mpx front camera, while the base version will settle for 13Mpx and 8Mpx sensors. Both tablets measure just 5.8 mm and weigh 494 grams. In China, the price of the Xiaomi Pad 8 started at 2,199 yuan (about 6,400 CZK), while the Pro version started at 2,799 yuan (approximately 8,200 CZK). However, higher prices are typically expected in Europe. For comparison: the previous generation Pad 7 started at 8,999 CZK in our market, and the Pro version at 13,499 CZK.
