The new system version, built on Android 16, will arrive on selected phones and tablets during October and November 2025. This is one of the most extensive updates Xiaomi has launched in recent years, which is logical given the continuous expansion of its portfolio – but that doesn’t mean it will arrive quickly. Who will get HyperOS 3 in October What HyperOS 3 brings: the numbers are promising Xiaomi Super Island and visual changes Who will get HyperOS 3 in October The list of devices scheduled to receive the update in October is quite extensive. It includes flagships and mid-range devices – and importantly, it also applies to Redmi Note 14 models. Phones with HyperOS 3 in October 2025: Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Xiaomi 15T Pro, Xiaomi 15T Xiaomi MIX Flip Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro, Redmi Note 14 POCO F7 Ultra, POCO F7 Pro, POCO F7 POCO X7 Pro, POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition, POCO X7 Tablets with HyperOS 3 in October 2025: Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro Xiaomi Pad 7 Xiaomi Pad Mini If your phone is missing from the list, it doesn’t automatically mean it won’t get the update – Xiaomi plans another wave in November. What HyperOS 3 brings: the numbers are promising Xiaomi doesn’t shy away from numbers in its announcement. CPU load is expected to decrease by 4%, energy efficiency by 10%, and frame drop frequency by 18.9%. This sounds good, but in practice, it depends on how much you’ll feel these values in real-world use. More interesting are the specific improvements in daily use: apps are expected to launch 21% faster, video playback should be 10% smoother, and touch response should have 9% lower latency. Additionally, Xiaomi has optimized over 100 system animations. If it works as the company claims, it will be a noticeable improvement. Xiaomi Super Island and visual changes The biggest visual novelty is Xiaomi Super Island, which is essentially Xiaomi’s answer to Apple’s Dynamic Island or Samsung’s Now Bar. It functions as a hub for live activities and notifications and is expected to support over 70 integrated services. This means that instead of classic notifications, you’ll see a compact widget with ongoing activity – for example, music playback, navigation, or a stopwatch. HyperOS 3 also brings AI dynamic wallpapers with a depth effect, redesigned icons, and the ability to customize the home screen grid. New cinematic lock screens merge wallpaper and lock screen customization into a single interface. The photo gallery then gains intelligent search and automatic album creation for pets. If you have a phone from official Czech distribution and want the update as quickly as possible, it’s best to regularly check system settings. Or download the ROM manually from official sources – but that’s already venturing into a grey area that a typical user would rather avoid. Are you looking forward to HyperOS 3?
