As part of Black Friday, Alza is dropping the price of the 24″ Philips 24E2N1110/00 from the original 2,390 CZK to 1,490 CZK. This is the cheapest 120Hz monitor you can currently find in the Czech Republic. It’s no miracle – you get a basic Full HD (1920×1080) IPS panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and 300 cd/m² brightness. But for the money, it’s not a bad offer for those looking for a second monitor for their laptop or a cheap upgrade from an old 60Hz display.

The IPS panel ensures decent viewing angles and color reproduction – nothing extraordinary, but sufficient for office work and web browsing. The anti-glare surface reduces reflections, which you’ll appreciate in an office with windows. It has a blue light filter and Flicker-free technology, which reduces flickering – both will help during long sessions in front of the monitor.
