This is what the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 are supposed to look like. Design changes leaked by the manufacturer itself

A month after we informed you about Samsung’s work on the Galaxy Buds4 earbuds, we are learning the first concrete details about their design thanks to a leak. Android Authority discovered an icon named “list_ic_earbuds_buds4” in the latest leaked version of the One UI 8.5 overlay, which reveals what the new earbuds will look like.

Less angular, more rounded design

Významnou změnou však bude celkový tvar sluchátek – Samsung se zjevně odkloní od ostřejších, trojúhelníkových linií Galaxy Buds3 a přejde k zaoblenějšímu a měkčímu designu.

The icon also confirms the presence of silicone ear tips, which should ensure a better fit and more comfortable wear during long-term use. This design change indicates that Samsung is emphasizing the ergonomics and comfort of the new generation.

When can we expect the unveiling?

As we wrote in September, Samsung is preparing two models – Galaxy Buds4 with the designation SM-R540 and the premium Galaxy Buds4 Pro with the designation SM-R640. More than a year has passed since the introduction of the third generation, so the timing for successors is slowly approaching.

According to current customs, Samsung introduces new earbuds alongside its flagship phones. This suggests that the unveiling of the Galaxy Buds4 can be expected in early 2026 during the first Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy S26 series should also be introduced.
