This is what the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro is supposed to look like. It resembles the Ultra, but won't get a stylus

Samsung is preparing four flagships for early 2027, and now the first CAD renders of perhaps the most interesting one have emerged from leaker OnLeaks. The Galaxy S27 Pro looks like a scaled-down Ultra – it will offer the same design, but in a body that finally fits in one hand. However, it will not get an S Pen stylus.

Galaxy S27 Pro to get an island like iPhones

The renders come from established leaker OnLeaks and were published exclusively by Android Headlines. According to them, the new device will adopt the complete redesign of the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra – meaning a prominent camera block that spans the entire width of the back and resembles current iPhones. We wrote about the leaked renders of the Ultra itself a few days ago, and some fans are not exactly thrilled about it.

A trio of cameras in a new arrangement is visible on the back. However, the purple color in which the phone shines in the renders is not confirmed for the final version – it is a shade chosen by the author mainly to make the device stand out in the images.

How much smaller will it be than the Galaxy S27 Ultra?

The main advantage of the Pro model is expected to be its dimensions. According to the leak, the phone will measure 154.06 × 73.77 × 7.95 mm, while the Ultra will stretch to 163.76 × 78.25 mm. In practice, this means a body that is roughly nine millimeters shorter and five millimeters narrower with practically the same thickness, making one-handed operation significantly more comfortable.

According to current speculations, the display should measure around 6.6 inches, which is about three-tenths of an inch less than the Ultra’s 6.9-inch area. The exact diagonal depends on how Samsung measures the panel and how thick the bezels will be, so take it with a grain of salt for now. For comparison: the competing Pixel 11 Pro is even a bit more compact at 152.7 mm in height.

What to expect from the specs?

According to Android Headlines, the Pro model should stick close to the Ultra in terms of hardware: it is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme, or Exynos 2700 in some regions, complemented by 12 GB of RAM.

The cameras are expected to remain close to the Ultra with a main 200Mpx sensor and a 50Mpx ultrawide, but the telephoto lens is reportedly cut down from 5x to 3x zoom for the new device. Power is expected to be provided by a 5,200 mAh battery based on silicon-carbon technology. However, all of these are just expectations for now, not data from the leak, so take them with a grain of salt until Samsung officially unveils the phone.

How much will it cost and when will it arrive?

No one has yet stated the price in Czech crowns, and Samsung will set it in the Czech Republic only upon launch. According to speculation, the Pro model should fit within the current price of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the current Ultra might become a few thousand more expensive.

The unveiling of the entire Galaxy S27 series is expected at the turn of January and February 2027, likely just before MWC. However, the exact date is still being kept under wraps by the manufacturer.
