A robotic lawnmower for an area of 3000 m² with visual navigation and no need for a boundary wire was recently considered a luxury item. The Segway Navimow H3000E now starts on Heureka at 29 999 Kč, while the previous minimum price was 36 889 Kč. The model was launched two years ago for over 60 000 Kč, so its price has since dropped by more than half.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you have a medium to large lawn up to 3000 m² and want a mower that you don’t have to install with a boundary wire.
⚠️ Consider if you have a complexly shaped plot with shade from trees – visual navigation has its limits in poorer conditions.
💡 At 29 999 Kč, it’s less than half of the original launch price, plus it supports large areas that smaller models can’t handle.

Why this mower is interesting

The Navimow H3000E is among the mowers that do not require a boundary wire, and what sets it apart from most competitors in this price range is its focus on lawns up to 3000 m² – an area that smaller models like Ecovacs GOAT O800 RTK or Navimow i105E can no longer handle effectively. The main technology is the VisionFence visual sensor and the Exact Fusion Locating system, which combines GPS with positioning to centimeter accuracy.

Key parameters explained in simple terms

The mower has a cutting width of 21 cm, a three-blade cutting system, and can handle slopes up to 45%. You can adjust the cutting height in the range of 30 to 60 mm, which is a slightly narrower range than competitors (8 cm is common), but it’s sufficient for a standard lawn. Power is provided by brushless wheel motors, which have higher efficiency and longer lifespan than traditional brushed motors.

Power is provided by a 10.4 Ah Li-Ion battery, which can handle 2 hours of continuous mowing and recharges in 3 hours. Mowing scheduling is handled by a mobile application via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; you can also connect the mower to a 4G mobile network (requires a separately sold module for approximately 2 399 Kč).

The construction has IPX6 protection, so the mower can easily withstand rain or washing with a hose. The weight is 16.3 kg and the dimensions are 60.3 × 44.8 × 26.4 cm – making it a larger machine that takes up comparable space in the garage as a smaller electric lawnmower.

Practical aspects: safety, maintenance, and remote control

Safety is handled by the intelligent VisionFence sensor, which identifies obstacles (animals, people, toys, furniture) in real-time and stops the cutting blade. The mower is also protected by anti-theft GPS – if it leaves the mapped area or someone lifts it, it automatically locks. The built-in rain sensor automatically pauses mowing during rain and sends the mower back to its station.

An exceptionally strong point of the H3000E model is its quiet operation – for areas of 3000 m², this typically means several hours a day, and conventional gasoline or even some electric mowers would drive neighbors to despair. The mobile application allows complete remote control: turning on, pausing, returning to the station, checking history, and mowing schedule. With the 4G module, this also works outside the range of home Wi-Fi.

When it doesn’t make sense

If you have a very shaded or complexly shaped plot with many narrow passages, VisionFence visual navigation has its limits compared to more modern LiDAR systems – these handle more complex geometry better and also work at night. For such scenarios, look for Navimow i210E or X450E models in the current range, or the competing Dreame A1 PRO. Similarly, it doesn’t make sense for areas over 3000 m² – here, the mower can no longer cover the entire plot in a reasonable time.

And if you want a maximally automated solution without extra charges, keep in mind that the 4G module is a separate product for approximately 2 399 Kč. Without it, you are reliant on home Wi-Fi or Bluetooth within range.

Verdict: who it’s worth it for

At 29 999 Kč – which is less than half of the original launch price – the Navimow H3000E is one of the most affordable robotic lawnmowers for areas up to 3000 m² on the Czech market. The combination of VisionFence visual navigation, GPS protection, IPX6 rating, and quiet operation makes this model a reasonable compromise for medium to larger gardens where smaller categories up to 800 m² are no longer sufficient. Today’s price of 29 999 Kč is the result of two years of price drops, and for most medium-sized gardens, what was once an expensive premium product has become an accessible solution.

Do you think a robotic lawnmower is already worth it for a medium-sized garden, or does it remain more for large plots?
