This year's Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra no longer costs even 10 thousand. They have a durable body, the latest system, and large storage

The premium smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 has reached an interesting price level on the Czech market. While they carried a price tag of CZK 17,499 at launch, you can now get them from CZK 9,429. This represents a drop of almost 46% from the original amount, making them a significantly more affordable alternative to this year’s Apple Watch Ultra.

Minimal upgrade, maximum features

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 represents more of an evolutionary step than a revolution. Compared to last year’s model, they bring only two changes – an increase in internal storage from 32 GB to 64 GB and a newer operating system One UI Watch 8 built on Wear OS 6. Its predecessor ran on One UI Watch 6 with Wear OS 5 out of the box. All other parameters, including design, durability, and hardware, remain identical.

However, this does not mean they are weak watches. On the contrary – the Galaxy Watch Ultra are among the most durable smartwatches on the market. The body made of aerospace-grade titanium is protected by sapphire glass, and the entire unit meets the military standard MIL-STD-810H. The watch can withstand dives up to 100 meters, operates in temperatures from -20 °C to +55 °C, and can even endure altitudes of 9,000 meters.

Advanced health features and navigation

At the heart of the watch remains the BioActive sensor, which accurately monitors vital functions even during intense movement or underwater. The watch can measure ECG, blood pressure, and body composition using bioelectrical impedance analysis. The Energy Score feature uses artificial intelligence to evaluate the overall state of the body. For athletes, over 90 sport modes are available, including triathlon.

Navigation capabilities are provided by dual-frequency GPS with L1 and L5 band support, which guarantees precise positioning even in challenging terrain. The watch supports GPX file import and a Navigate Back function. In case of emergency, an integrated siren with a volume of 86 decibels can be used, audible up to 180 meters away. Fall detection with automatic emergency calling is also included.

Performance and endurance for demanding users

Under the hood, a 3nm Exynos W1000 processor ticks, complemented by 2 GB of RAM. The expanded storage to 64 GB provides ample space for music, maps, and applications. The 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 × 480 pixels reaches a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, remaining readable even in direct sunlight.

The 590 mAh battery comfortably lasts two days in normal operation, and up to 100 hours in power-saving mode. This is a solid result for a watch with such features and an Always-On display. Fast charging then ensures that the watch will be ready during a short break.
