Are you looking for a truly small wireless speaker that fits in your pocket and won’t break your budget? The Czech manufacturer LAMAX has the Sphere2 Mini model in its portfolio, which is among the smallest speakers on the market. And right now, you can get it for the lowest price yet, 249 CZK. The interesting thing is that the cheapest offer is currently not found at well-known electronics retailers, but rather in the e-shop of the Pilulka pharmacy.

Best Offer Yet

According to the comparison site Heureka, the lowest price for the LAMAX Sphere2 Mini was recently around 327 CZK. The current Pilulka offer for 249 CZK thus represents an interesting saving. For comparison – on the official LAMAX e-shop, this speaker costs 329 CZK, discounted from the original 399 CZK, and on Alza, it costs 327 CZK.

What Does It Offer for That Price?

The LAMAX Sphere2 Mini weighs only 71 grams and its dimensions are 48 × 46 mm, so it truly fits in a pants pocket. Despite its miniature proportions, it boasts 5 W of power and a frequency range of 150 Hz to 20 kHz. The proprietary BeatBass technology takes care of bass enhancement.

The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.3 with a range of up to 10 meters. If you don’t have a phone handy, you can insert a MicroSD card into it and play MP3 files directly from it. It also features an integrated microphone for hands-free calls and TWS functionality, which allows pairing two speakers for stereo sound.

The manufacturer states a battery life of up to 15 hours at 50% volume. The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 400 mAh and charges in approximately 1.5 hours via USB-C. The speaker body is made of aluminum, and the package also includes a practical strap for hanging.

What Do Users Say?

On Heureka, the LAMAX Sphere2 Mini has 80 ratings with an average score of 98%. Users most often praise its compact dimensions, surprisingly good sound for its size, and long battery life. They also appreciate the quality aluminum craftsmanship and simple controls.

Critical remarks include the absence of a wired input – the speaker can only be connected via Bluetooth or a MicroSD card. Some users would also welcome more pronounced bass, although they acknowledge that given the price and size, this is an understandable compromise.

Would you buy a speaker at a pharmacy?
