Too bad it wasn't released in summer. It’s actually a shame that this practical lamp didn’t arrive in the summer – it looks like an ideal companion for travelers, camping enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors after sunset. For a very favorable price, it offers surprisingly rich features, including IP66 resistance and up to 36 hours of battery life. Resistant to rain and dust thanks to IP66 certification The Mijia Outdoor Multi-function Light features IP66 certification, which guarantees protection against dust and resistance to strong jets of water. The lamp can thus easily survive not only dusty environments but also rain or splashing water when washing a car or boat. For outdoor enthusiasts, this is an important parameter – you don’t have to worry about the light failing precisely when you need it most. Xiaomi has incorporated a pair of light sources into the new product, capable of generating up to 600 lumens of luminous flux. At maximum power, the lamp can illuminate a distance of 110 meters, according to the manufacturer, which you will appreciate during night hikes or when navigating unfamiliar terrain. Three lighting modes as needed The light offers three basic modes – a spotlight for illuminating distant objects, a diffused light for uniform ambient illumination, and a combined mode that merges the advantages of both previous ones. Each mode also supports several intensity levels, allowing you to adjust the light output according to the current situation. For emergency situations, the manufacturer added an SOS signaling function and a red warning light. The first helps call for help in an emergency, while the second increases your visibility when moving along a road or marking a dangerous spot. Additionally, it can be used, for example, during night cycling. Up to 36 hours of battery life on a single charge Battery life naturally varies depending on the selected mode and light intensity. At maximum power, the lamp lasts 3 to 5 hours, which is sufficient for an evening barbecue or a short night trip. In power-saving mode with minimal intensity, the battery life increases to an impressive 10 to 36 hours – allowing the light to illuminate an entire weekend in nature. Too bad it wasn't released in summer. Xiaomi unveiled a new light for every outdoor adventure Adam Kurfürst News Adam Kurfürst News Charging takes place via a modern USB-C connector, so you can charge the lamp with the same cable as your phone or tablet. Xiaomi even states that you can charge the light from a power bank, which is great news for anyone embarking on longer trips “off the grid.” Who is the light designed for? The Mijia Outdoor Multi-function Light is suitable for a wide range of users. Campers and hikers will find it useful as a primary or backup light source in nature. Fishermen will appreciate the long battery life and the ability to set different modes for night fishing. Motorists can carry it in the trunk in case of a breakdown or accident – the red warning light will alert other drivers to danger. Thanks to its low price, the light is also suitable as backup home lighting in case of a power outage. Furthermore, IP66 certification allows for use in a workshop, garage, or garden without fear of damage from dust or water. Xiaomi has not yet announced whether the new product will make its way to global markets, and personally, I don’t attribute a very high probability to it. However, perhaps the Chinese will surprise us and eventually bring the product to local store shelves. Would you get such an outdoor light for your nature trips?
