The flagship Samsung S95F series usually belongs to the most expensive OLED TVs on the market, so when its 55″ variant drops below 30,000, it’s worth knowing about. You can now buy the Samsung QE55S95FAT for as little as 27,980 CZK – at its launch in June 2025, it cost 64,990 CZK. You can check the current price and availability in the price comparison on Heureka.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you want a premium OLED panel with high brightness for a well-lit living room and appreciate gaming features for PS5/Xbox/PC.
⚠️ Consider if you need Dolby Vision – Samsung is the only major manufacturer that still doesn’t support this HDR format and relies only on HDR10+.
💡 At 27,980 CZK, this is the lowest price in the history of this TV’s sale in the Czech Republic – compared to the launch price of 64,990 CZK, you save over 37,000.

Why this discount is exceptional

The Samsung S95F represents the flagship QD-OLED TV series from 2025, and until this May, its 55″ variant, according to Heureka, was mostly above 35,000. It has only dropped below 30,000 for the second time in its entire sales history, so if you’re considering a premium TV, you won’t find a better moment now. The price of 27,980 CZK means a saving of over 37,000 CZK compared to the June launch price.

For context: the 65″ variant starts from 38,990 CZK and the 77″ from 64,595 CZK. If you have a living room where 55 inches makes sense, this diagonal is currently the best-priced in the entire S95F series.

QD-OLED panel and key parameters

The S95F runs on a third-generation QD-OLED panel, which combines self-illuminating OLED pixels with quantum dots for higher brightness and wider color gamut than classic WOLED panels from LG. The resolution is, of course, 4K (3840 × 2160), with a native 100 Hz refresh rate with overdrive up to 165 Hz for PC gaming. The NQ4 AI Gen3 processor with 128 neural networks handles AI upscaling, AI picture modes, and sound analysis.

The main distinguishing feature of the S95F is its Glare Free matte screen certified by UL Solutions. Instead of a glossy panel that acted like a mirror during the day, you have a glare-suppressing surface similar to high-end professional monitors. In Heureka reviews, this feature repeatedly appears as the main wow moment – people with large windows facing the TV describe not having to draw curtains or turn off lights during the day.

Practical aspects: One Connect Box, design, gaming

The second characteristic feature of the series is the One Connect Box – an external box into which all ports (4× HDMI 2.1, 3× USB-A, 1× USB-C, optical output, Ethernet) lead, and which connects to the TV with a single thin cable carrying both power and data connection. For wall mounting, this is a huge benefit: the TV is extremely thin (Infinity One Design), looks like a picture on the wall, and all cables can be hidden in a cabinet. A small note from reviews – the One Connect cable connector is wider than a standard HDMI, so if you have a narrow wall conduit, check the dimensions beforehand.

For gamers: 4× HDMI 2.1 with support for 4K up to 165 Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, Auto Low Latency Mode, and Game Bar for quick settings switching. It’s an ideal partner for PS5, Xbox Series X, and gaming PCs. Audio is handled by a 4.2.2-channel 70 W system with Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound+, reviewers describe it as “surprisingly good,” but for a true home cinema experience, we recommend adding a soundbar – for example, for Q-Symphony pairing with the Samsung HW-Q990F.

What do users on Heureka say?

On Heureka, the S95F (across diagonals) has a rating of 97% from 95 reviews, and 93 out of 100 customers recommend the product. People primarily praise the beautiful picture, perfect black, high brightness even during the day, matte glare-free screen, and the One Connect Box for cable management. For PS5 gamers, smooth operation, game mode, and fast response are repeatedly highlighted.

The most common reservation concerns the absence of Dolby Vision – Samsung, as the only major manufacturer, ignores this HDR format and relies solely on HDR10+. If you primarily watch Netflix or Apple TV+, where Dolby Vision dominates, you won’t have optimal dynamic range (although HDR10+ is practically comparable for supported content). Other minor points: the plastic remote control feels a bit cheap for the luxury price (even though it has solar charging), the default menu contains ads for paid platforms, and some formats from USB won’t play. Ads can be turned off in the settings; it’s more of an annoying default state than a fundamental flaw.

When it doesn’t make sense

If you need Dolby Vision, rather opt for an LG OLED G or C series, or a Panasonic Z95 or Sony BRAVIA 9. Similarly, if you have a dark, sunless living room, the advantage of the matte Glare Free screen disappears, and a classic glossy OLED for less money (e.g., LG C5) will do the same job. For dark cinema rooms, a matte panel is not an ideal choice – some reviewers confirm this.

The second factor is viewing distance. 55 inches makes sense from approximately 1.8 to 3 meters – if you’re further away, it’s worth upgrading to the 65″ variant, where the difference is 11,000 CZK. The flagship panel quality deserves an appropriate size.

Verdict: who the deal is worth it for

The Samsung S95F for 27,980 CZK is a premium TV at a mid-range price. A third-generation QD-OLED panel, Glare Free matte screen, 165 Hz, One Connect Box for clean installation, and the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor – this is equipment that was selling for 64,990 CZK just a year ago. If you have a bright living room, play on PS5/PC, and are bothered by glossy OLED panels, this discount is one of the best times to get a top-tier OLED TV in 2026. Samsung also promises 7 years of Tizen operating system upgrades, so the TV will remain software-current even in 2032.

Does Samsung’s lack of Dolby Vision bother you, or is HDR10+ enough for you?
