The operator has already confirmed on social media that they are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it. What exactly is not working? According to customer feedback from the Downdetector platform, practically the entire mobile network is not working – calls, SMS, and data services. “No signal on my mobile, I can’t make calls,” writes a user from Olomouc, for example. Similar experiences are reported by people from Prague, České Budějovice, Hradec Králové, and other cities. Interestingly, O2 fixed internet connection remains functional, as confirmed by some customers: “5G network went down, Prague Stodůlky. Fixed fiber internet is fine.” Uneven impact of the outage The situation is not the same for all users. Some report a complete loss of signal, while others experience intermittent service functionality. “It changes continuously. I have two cards in my mobile. The second one for data. I have a signal on that one, and on the first SIM card (calls, SMS,…), I have a signal for a while and then not for a long time,” describes one customer. Another user adds: “Interestingly, out of three devices I currently have connected to O2 (mobile, work mobile, tablet), two only show emergency calls and a restart didn’t help, the third one is still holding connection.” Official operator response O2, via its O2 Guru account on the social network X, confirmed that it is aware of the problem: “We are currently experiencing issues with callability and data for some customers. We are investigating the situation and working on a solution. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the operator stated in a reply to one user.
