The device features a 360° horizontal rotation range and a 116° vertical range, allowing it to cover every corner of the room without blind spots.

For perfect visibility even in the dark, the camera offers night vision with a range of up to 12 meters and utilizes a highly sensitive starlight sensor, which captures quality images even in extremely poor lighting conditions. Thanks to this technology, the camera provides reliable recordings even where conventional cameras would fail.

Smart AI Detection Recognizes People and Pets

What makes the TP-Link Tapo C260 a truly modern security device is its integrated artificial intelligence. The camera can recognize human faces and categorize them into known and unknown individuals, significantly reducing false alarms. TP-Link also considers user privacy. The camera offers a physical lens cover for complete lens obscuration and a blocked zones feature, which allows setting areas that the camera will not record. This way, you can, for example, block the view of a bed or a desk, while important areas like the entrance door remain monitored.

Regarding recording storage, the Tapo C260 offers two options. You can either use a microSD card with a capacity of up to 512 GB (not included) for local storage without monthly fees, or the Tapo Care service for cloud storage. The first month of cloud service is also free for trial.
