TP-Link unveiled a robotic vacuum cleaner that mops with water extracted from the air. Its station also impresses with a large display Home News TP-Link introduced the Tapo RV70 Pro Ultra robotic vacuum cleaner with a unique self-cleaning station at IFA 2025 The charging station features an integrated display for control and a system for producing water from the air The vacuum cleaner offers 18,000 Pa suction power and a retractable mopping arm for thorough corner cleaning Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 19. 9. 2025 12:30 Advertisement At this year’s IFA 2025 trade fair, the TP-Link brand presented its new robotic vacuum cleaner, the Tapo RV70 Pro Ultra, which stands out primarily for its unconventional and highly innovative charging station solution. The station integrates a large touch display in its upper part, through which the entire device can be controlled, and also comes with a system for producing water from the air. The new product has already appeared on the manufacturer’s Czech website, indicating a possible early launch on our market. A station that produces water from the air The most interesting feature of the new product is the All-in-One Self-Circulating Station, which can extract moisture directly from the air. The collected water is then used for mopping, thereby at least partially eliminating the need for regular refilling of clean water. After cleaning is complete, the station pumps dirty water from the mop, cleans it using a multi-stage filtration system, and prepares it for further use. The system simultaneously helps to regulate humidity in rooms and neutralizes unpleasant odors thanks to integrated ozone technology. Thus, in addition to emptying the dustbin, the station ensures complete maintenance of the vacuum cleaner without the need for regular user intervention. Powerful vacuum cleaner with a retractable arm The robotic vacuum cleaner itself boasts 18,000 Pa suction power, placing it among the most powerful models on the market. For mopping, it uses a retractable robotic arm that can clean even hard-to-reach areas along walls and in room corners. TP-Link also highlights hair tangle-free technology in the new product, which minimizes the need for brush maintenance. The vacuum cleaner automatically detects animals and adjusts settings for efficient cleaning of pet hair, kibble, or cat litter, while striving not to disturb pets. Artificial intelligence for smarter cleaning The Tapo RV70 Pro Ultra uses AI for obstacle avoidance – it recognizes cables, slippers, toys, and other objects on the floor. The AI Stain Detection feature identifies stains and dirt, paying increased attention to them during mopping. The third AI feature is AI Cleaning Strategy, which analyzes room layout and furniture to create an optimal cleaning strategy. Availability not yet confirmed The TP-Link Tapo RV70 Pro Ultra has already appeared on the manufacturer’s Czech website, suggesting a planned launch on our market. Neither the price nor the specific availability date has been announced yet. However, given its advanced features and unique station, it can be expected to fall into a higher price category.
