TP-Link used the IFA 2025 trade fair to introduce its new security camera, the Tapo C675D, which boasts solar panel power capability and an advanced dual-lens system. We can say with almost 100% certainty that the new product will also head to the Czech market, though the exact availability date and price have not yet been announced.

Dual Lenses for Comprehensive Surveillance

The Tapo C675D camera features two separate lenses with distinct functions. The first fixed lens is used for detecting motion and people within its field of view, while the second pan/tilt rotatable lens can automatically track captured objects. As soon as the fixed lens detects a person, the rotatable camera immediately activates and smoothly follows the movement of the detected person across the entire frame.

The manufacturer opted for 4K resolution with an 8Mpx sensor, which ensures sharp footage even when zoomed in. To achieve higher image quality, TP-Link improved not only the sensor itself but also the camera’s processor and optics. Details about specific components or other imaging features have not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer.

Solar Power and Continuous Recording

The Tapo C675D KIT package includes a solar panel, which ensures independent camera operation without the need for connection to the electrical grid. The camera thus functions wirelessly in any location regardless of socket availability. Even with solar power, the device manages continuous 24/7 recording, which is not a given for solar-powered cameras.

TP-Link promises that the camera can record continuously even without a DC power connection. Users will thus get a complete record of all events without gaps in recording. The manufacturer has not yet mentioned the capacity of the integrated battery or the method of storing recordings.

Availability and Other Features

Given the launch of the product page on the Czech domain, it is almost certain that the Tapo C675D KIT will arrive on our market, but the local representation of the company has not yet announced the specific launch date or the recommended price. More detailed information about other features and technical parameters should be published by the manufacturer in the coming weeks before the official start of sales.
