Coffee table (i.e., small) projectors are a category where it’s easy to get lost in average products. The Hisense M2SE PRO is on Alza for 26,991 Kč with code AUDIOVIDEOTYDNY10 and is among the better options you can get in this category — a DLP projector with a triple laser, native 4K resolution, Dolby Vision support, and a compact body weighing 3.9 kg with a portable handle.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you want a portable 4K projector with a laser light source that sets itself up virtually automatically and offers a solid cinematic image.
⚠️ Consider that the built-in sound is weaker (a soundbar is recommended), it only has one HDMI input, and 1,100 lumens are mainly sufficient for a darkened room.
💡 For 26,991 Kč you get a triple laser, 4K DLP, HDR including Dolby Vision, and all major streaming applications directly in the system.

Why this one

The triple RGB laser (Trichroma technology) creates an image with 110% BT.2020 color gamut coverage — colors are richer and more natural than with single-laser models. Support for HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision covers all current formats. DLP technology provides high contrast with well-rendered dark shades. The laser’s lifespan is 25,000 hours — at three hours a day, that’s over 20 years.

The automatic setup system self-focuses, corrects keystone distortion, and adjusts image size. The rotating stand allows for quick angle adjustment. Projection from 65″ to 200″ from a distance of 1.4–5.8 m with optical zoom. The VIDAA system offers certified applications like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube, Apple TV+, as well as Czech services. Connectivity includes AirPlay 2, Miracast, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. You also get a carrying case with the projector.

What to expect

The built-in speakers (2× 5W) are sufficient for casual viewing, but for a cinematic experience, both Alza users and international reviews recommend connecting a soundbar — the sound lacks dynamism and distorts during more demanding scenes. Only one HDMI input means switching between a console and a player. And while the brightness of 1,100 lumens is solid for this class, it’s still not enough in daylight without darkening the room.

Projector or TV — what do you prefer for movie nights?
