Sony developed the Inzone series in collaboration with the professional esports team Fnatic, and it shows in two aspects: weight and sound localization. The headset weighs only 260 grams, so it doesn’t press down even after an all-night session, and 360 Spatial Sound combined with 40mm drivers helps you accurately hear where an opponent’s footsteps are coming from. The flip-up microphone can be muted simply by raising it, and the battery lasts up to 28 hours – with fast charging via USB-C. On PS5, the headset works instantly after plugging in the receiver, no setup required.

One significant catch

The Inzone H5 is a pure gaming tool – it does not have Bluetooth, so you cannot connect it wirelessly to your phone. Sony reserves this feature for the more expensive H9 model. The included 1.5m cable with a jack is a savior, allowing the headphones to work anywhere, even with a dead battery. And since it’s a closed-back design made primarily of plastic materials, don’t expect a premium feel like with the WH series headphones – here, the money went into sound and low weight, not materials.
