UGREEN power bank with 25,000 mAh discounted by 600 CZK. It can charge a laptop and is allowed on planes.

For a more powerful laptop on the go, you need a power bank that delivers more than 65 W, and at the same time, you want it to pass through airport security without issues. This UGREEN with a capacity of 25,000 mAh can do both. The UGREEN 25000mAh 145W power bank now costs 1,799 CZK instead of 2,399 CZK with code ALZADNY25, so you save 600 CZK.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense if you want to charge a laptop via USB-C and a phone or headphones from one power bank.
⚠️ Consider that some customers complain about lower real capacity and unreliable percentages on the display.
💡 For 1,799 CZK you get it 600 CZK cheaper, and with a capacity under 100 Wh, you can take it in your carry-on luggage.

One port for a laptop, two more for a phone and headphones

The 145 W figure is the total output shared by three ports: two USB-C and one USB-A. According to the description on Alza, the main USB-C delivers up to 140 W, the second 65 W, and the USB-A 22.5 W. You can use all three simultaneously, so you can charge a laptop, phone, and headphones at once. Besides USB Power Delivery, including PPS, which Samsung phones use, it also supports Quick Charge 3.0 and other fast charging standards, so it can handle phones that don’t use PD.

Take the full 140 W with a grain of salt. You’ll only get above 100 W with a device and cable that support PD 3.1, and Alza’s specifications also state a maximum voltage of 20 V, which is not enough for 140 W. However, for most USB-C laptops, this doesn’t matter, as they typically only request up to 100 W. A customer review suggests that the power in practice is sufficient: the power bank charged his Asus Zenbook, which 65W power banks couldn’t handle.

Before the promotion, it cost 2,399 CZK on Alza. With code ALZADNY25, you’ll pay 1,799 CZK, which is 600 CZK (25%) less. Alza also displays the HlídačShopů label “We agree on the discount” with the offer, indicating that the discount matches its price history records.

On a plane, yes; in a pants pocket, probably not

At a typical cell voltage of 3.6 V, 25,000 mAh translates to approximately 90 Wh, a figure also stated by international sellers. This is important if you fly: power banks up to 100 Wh are allowed in carry-on luggage without airline approval; for larger ones, you must ask in advance, and no power bank belongs in checked luggage. However, it is still an item that Alza lists with a weight of 620 grams, so its place is in a backpack or laptop bag, not in a pocket.

On the display, you will see the remaining capacity in percentages. The package includes a USB-C cable and, according to customers, a case. Two buyers also mention pass-through charging, which you won’t find in Alza’s description: this means you can charge the power bank and power a connected device from it simultaneously. According to one of them, only one USB-C port serves as an input, while the other is output-only.

Customers praise performance, but capacity and display divide opinions

On Alza, the power bank has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 53 customers, 39 of whom gave it full marks. 81% of buyers recommend it, over 1,000 units have been sold, and the return rate is 2.39%, which Alza classifies as low. In 18 written reviews, people most often praise its performance. One user powers a second monitor for their laptop with it, another simultaneously charged a Steam Deck OLED, a phone, and a tablet, and another customer powered a mini PC under full load for an hour.

Most complaints concern capacity. Several people write that they actually get significantly less energy than they would expect from 25,000 mAh, and one estimates it to be closer to 15,000 mAh. Part of the difference is a tax every power bank pays: when converting voltage for the charged device, some energy is lost as heat, so the full stated capacity never reaches the phone. One buyer, on the other hand, writes that the capacity is accurate, and the aforementioned Zenbook owner claims to have charged his laptop’s 96Wh battery from 10 to 90% with it.

The second recurring complaint concerns the display. According to some reviews, the percentages get stuck for tens of minutes and then jump by about 20 points, so treat the charge status as approximate. Occasionally, there were also reports that the material wears out quickly or that the power bank stopped working after two years. Customers disagree on how quickly it charges itself. One writes that he charged it within an hour with a 105W charger, while another describes the charging as extremely long. The charger used likely plays a role here.

For whom will 145 W be unnecessarily too much?

If you won’t be charging a laptop from the power bank, you’ll be paying extra for performance you won’t use. For a phone and headphones, a smaller and lighter model that fits in your pocket will suffice. And if you want a cable built directly into the power bank’s body, check out the Anker with a retractable cable that we tested.

For 1,799 CZK, it’s a reasonable backup for a laptop on the go

The UGREEN 25000mAh 145W doesn’t have a perfect display, and not every customer is satisfied with its capacity. However, for 1,799 CZK with code ALZADNY25, you get a power bank that can charge a laptop via USB-C and is allowed on planes. In my opinion, it makes sense primarily for those who frequently work with a laptop on trains, at conferences, or elsewhere where an outlet isn’t readily available. I wouldn’t rely too much on the percentages on the display and would rather charge it fully before a longer trip.
