Classic video doorbells have one blind spot: the ground directly beneath them – exactly where a courier places a package. The Eufy E340 solves this with a second camera pointing downwards and now costs 4,190 CZK instead of 5,499 CZK. And while competitors charge monthly fees for cloud storage, here everything is stored locally and for free.

👍 Get it if couriers leave packages at your door and you refuse to pay a monthly subscription for your own recordings.
🤔 Hesitate if you’re an Apple Home user – the doorbell is compatible with Alexa and Google Home, but Apple integration is a weakness.
💰 Price: 4,190 CZK one-time; with Ring’s subscription, you’d pay a similar amount plus thousands more in fees over a few years of operation.

Two cameras, no blind spot

The main 2K camera captures the visitor’s face, while the second monitors the area at the doorstep – together, you see the person from head to the package at their feet. The Delivery Guard mode actively detects packages and alerts you if someone picks it up. Color night vision illuminates up to about five meters, so you can distinguish the color of clothing or a car even in the dark. Power is handled by a replaceable battery (charged via USB-C), or permanently wired from an existing doorbell.

No subscription, but with limits

According to the manufacturer, the internal 8 GB can hold up to two months of typical events, but for a highly frequented entrance, it will fill up significantly faster – then the oldest recordings are overwritten. For more storage, connect the doorbell to the optional HomeBase 3 station, which adds facial recognition and expandable disk storage. Also, note that it only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and full integration with Apple Home is not available. None of this changes the basic facts: it is one of the highest-rated video doorbells on the market, and the only thing you pay for after purchase is electricity to charge the battery. By the way – we recently wrote about the RETLUX video doorbell for 489 CZK; the E340 is the exact opposite of that philosophy, and the difference in image quality and application reflects that.
