Vivo X300 Pro will offer a massive battery and a top-tier main camera with a new Sony sensor

According to leaked information, the Chinese brand Vivo is preparing to unveil its new flagship smartphone, the X300 Pro. It is expected to see the light of day in October 2025 and will bring a number of significant improvements compared to its predecessors. The most striking features include an exceptionally large 7,000mAh battery, a powerful 200Mpx telephoto lens, and the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Let’s take a look at what’s currently rumored about this model.

Monstrous Battery and Top-Tier Display

According to information from the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X300 Pro will be equipped with a truly impressive battery with a capacity of 7,000 mAh. This represents a significant increase compared to previous models – specifically 1,000 mAh more than the X200 Pro and even 1,600 mAh more than the X100 Pro offered. Although we do not yet have confirmed information about its charging capabilities, it is expected that the manufacturer will improve the existing 90W wired and 30W wireless charging to match the larger battery capacity.

The phone is expected to feature a flat 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 1.5K (1,260 × 2,800 pixels). Renders published by user @ACE100xd suggest that there will be no significant design changes – if they truly reflect reality, the phone will retain its characteristic circular camera module located in the center of the rear side.

Powerful Next-Generation Processor

Under the hood, we will find the yet-to-be-announced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which will utilize the new ARM Cortex-X930 core clocked at up to 3.23 GHz. The processor will be complemented by the new Immortalis-Drage graphics chip, with the entire platform promising improved energy efficiency and advanced graphics performance. This combination should ensure top-tier performance even during demanding tasks and games.

Revolutionary Camera System with New Sony Sensor

However, the most significant improvements will come in the camera department. According to leaks, the Vivo X300 Pro is expected to offer a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50Mpx main sensor, a 50Mpx ultra-wide-angle lens, and also a 200Mpx periscope telephoto lens. The primary camera will utilize the Sony LYT-828 sensor, which was officially introduced last month.

This 50Mpx sensor, measuring 1/1.28 inches with 1.22 μm pixels, introduces revolutionary Hybrid Frame-HDR (HF-HDR) technology, which combines single-frame HDR utilizing dual gain conversion with multi-frame HDR. The result is a dynamic range of over 100 dB, which is more than even the larger Sony LYT-900 sensor offers. This will ensure exceptional image quality even in challenging lighting conditions.

The LYT-828 sensor also features Ultra High Conversion Gain (UHCG) technology, which significantly reduces noise when shooting in low-light conditions. Furthermore, Sony has improved the energy efficiency of this sensor, so the HDR function will be available even in preview and during video recording, which is often limited by competitors due to high power consumption.

The periscope 200Mpx telephoto lens is expected to use a sensor measuring 1/1.4 inches and also support macro photography. Additionally, Vivo will once again use optics with ZEISS T* coating for the entire camera system, which improves image clarity and reduces optical aberrations.

When Can We Expect It?

The official launch of the Vivo X300 Pro is expected this October, according to available information, with the phone likely arriving on global markets with some delay. Given that we saw previous models launched in the Czech market last year and the year before, we assume that Vivo will not deprive us of this model either. It will likely again be an ultra-premium model with a price tag of around 30,000 CZK.
