Google is finally widely launching a long-awaited feature for Gemini Live – access to important applications including Google Calendar, Google Tasks, and Keep Notes. As reported by 9to5Google, the new feature is reaching most users on both Android and iOS after months of testing.

End of waiting for the promised feature

Google originally announced the integration of applications into Gemini Live back at the I/O 2025 conference in May. The first users gained access at the end of June, but full deployment took until these days. The voice assistant, within the conversational mode, can finally create calendar events, add reminders to Tasks, or save notes to Keep – all during a regular conversation.

When the feature is activated, a chip with the corresponding application icon and a loading indicator will appear above the controls. For some actions, such as creating a list, the system offers a button for quick cancellation.

Natural communication without complex commands

Gemini Live understands natural queries – simply say “do I have any reminders today?” or directly mention the application name. Furthermore, the feature works with screen and video sharing – for example, if you see a date on the display, you can immediately ask to create a calendar event.

Do you already have access to the new Gemini Live features?
