What will the Google Pixel 10a look like? This leak might have revealed it

In recent years, Google hasn’t been very successful at keeping its products secret until the actual unveiling, and if the fresh leak we want to describe in this article is true, nothing has changed about that tradition. A user on a Chinese auction portal claimed to have a mockup of the back of the Google Pixel 10a phone. This phone is expected to be introduced next spring.

Only one minor design change?

It is at least strange that the alleged design of Google’s next mid-ranger is showing up this early. On the other hand, the fact is that the first live photos of the Pixel 9a appeared late last August, which is not that big of a difference. In any case, we cannot verify the authenticity of the photo published on the Chinese auction portal Goofish.

If the leak turns out to be true, then we could probably expect only one minor design change for the Pixel 10a. It seems that the flash will move away from the camera pill for some reason and thus get closer to the right side of the back. What decision could potentially lead Google to this is not clear to us. For myself, I can say that this shift seems a bit strange to me, but I said the same thing about the design of the Pixel 9a itself a year ago – and in the end, I quite like it.

What else do we know about the Pixel 10a?

Since we are about three quarters of a year away from the release of the Google Pixel 10a smartphone, we only have a minimal amount of details available. From an earlier report by Android Authority, we know that it will bear the codename “stallion”, and it can also be assumed that it will rely on the Tensor G5 chipset manufactured by the Taiwanese giant TSMC. Classically, we could also say that it will very likely get another dose of AI features, but exactly what will be better in its software than its predecessor, we cannot say yet.
