XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser projector has a battery and Google TV. It's now discounted by 6 thousand on Alza

A projector for an evening movie doesn’t have to stay permanently in the living room. The XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser has a built-in battery and weighs 1.32 kg, making it suitable for carrying between rooms or to a cottage. On Alza now, with code ALZADNY30, it costs 14 343 Kč.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: Projecting without a separate TV box and sound system. Google TV and speakers are directly in the projector.
⚠️ Consider: Account for room darkening, for which the projector is designed according to Alza.
💡 The power adapter and remote control are included in the package; you don’t need to purchase them separately.

You can move it and leave focusing to automation

When moving between rooms, automatic focusing and tilt correction come in handy. After placing the projector in a different spot, you don’t have to adjust everything manually. The body is 20.76 cm high, and 9.65 cm wide and deep. So, you’re not packing a bulky box for your trip, though do leave space for the adapter in your luggage.

In addition to the Google TV environment, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are available, and for wired connection, there are HDMI, USB-C, and USB. HDMI is useful, for example, for displaying content from a laptop, so you don’t have to limit yourself to the projector’s own environment when choosing content.

Laser light, but resolution remains Full HD

The MoGo 4 Laser uses DLP technology with a laser light source and a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Alza states a brightness of 688 ANSI lm, or 550.4 ISO lm. The diagonal can reach up to 200 inches, or 508 cm, according to the parameters; however, this is the upper limit of the declared range, not a recommendation to always project onto the largest possible area.

As for battery life, the 71.28Wh battery can handle 2 – 2.5 hours of playback in Eco mode according to tests, which is approximately the length of one movie.
