Last August, Xiaomi globally introduced a pair of affordable gaming monitors designed to complement their offering between basic office models and more expensive Mini LED variants. Now, both new products – Gaming Monitor G24i 2026 and Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 – have finally appeared on the manufacturer’s Czech website. They are not yet available for order, but we know they will be available for 2,499 CZK and 3,299 CZK.

Fast IPS panel with Full HD resolution

For both models, Xiaomi opted for Fast IPS technology, which combines the faster response of classic TN panels with the wide viewing angles typical of IPS. Both monitors offer a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio, differing only in size – the G24i features a 23.8″ diagonal, while the G27i offers 27 inches. For players of competitive titles, the smaller variant might even be more advantageous, as the eye can more easily encompass the entire display area.

200 Hz and millisecond response for smooth gaming

The key attraction of both monitors is the 200Hz refresh rate combined with a 1ms GTG response time. Compared to their predecessors, which offered “only” 165 Hz, this is a significant improvement. Xiaomi states that the response time value was measured in Ultra-fast mode at optimal resolution and refresh rate. Both models support AMD FreeSync Premium technologies and are compatible with Nvidia G-Sync, so you don’t have to worry about screen tearing with graphics cards from either camp.

HDR 400 and wide color gamut

The monitors have received HDR 400 certification with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. In practice, this means better contrast between dark and light areas of the image, although it is certainly not comparable to locally dimmed Mini LED panels. In terms of color, both models cover 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color space, which is a solid value for gaming monitors in this price category.

Xiaomi individually calibrates each unit to an accuracy of ΔE<2 before it leaves the factory. This value represents the average color deviation visible to the human eye – the lower the number, the more faithful the color reproduction. While professional graphic designers will likely opt for something else, for casual gaming and multimedia consumption, such accuracy is more than sufficient.

Eye protection and ergonomics

For those who spend long hours in front of the monitor, Xiaomi has equipped both models with TÜV Low Blue Light certification for blue light filtering. This mode must be activated manually in the OSD menu. Additionally, DC dimming technology eliminates screen flickering when brightness is reduced, further reducing eye strain.

Regarding ergonomics, the offering is quite basic. Both monitors support tilting in the range of −5° to +15° and wall mounting using a VESA 75×75 mm bracket (must be purchased separately). Height adjustment and rotation are missing. The larger G27i model features joystick control for the OSD menu, which is a nice detail.

Connectivity and specifications

The port equipment is identical for both models: DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and a power connector. The package includes an HDMI cable, power adapter, and base with stand. The smaller G24i weighs 3 kg, while the larger G27i weighs 3.9 kg.

Who are these monitors suitable for?

The Gaming Monitor G24i 2026 and G27i 2026 are aimed at gamers who want a high refresh rate at a reasonable price. Thanks to the combination of 200 Hz, millisecond response time, and FreeSync/G-Sync support, they are particularly suitable for competitive titles such as shooters, MOBA games, or racing simulators. Furthermore, Full HD resolution does not place high demands on the graphics card.

Conversely, if you prefer higher resolution for story-driven games or graphic design work, you should look for a model with a QHD or 4K panel. And if you require professional color accuracy or HDR with local dimming, you will have to dig deeper into your pockets.
