The seven-kilogram washing machine, which we exclusively revealed this August even before its official presentation, has arrived on the Czech market. The Xiaomi Mijia Front Load Washer 7 kg targets smaller households and boasts a slim body, energy class A, and smart control from a mobile phone – and you can already order it on Alza for 7,299 CZK.

You can find the new product in Alza’s offer, where it sells for 7,299 CZK and is immediately in stock. The seller delivers large appliances directly to your home, and you can also pay extra for the removal of your old washing machine with your order. The eight-kilogram model sells for less than ten thousand crowns here, so the seven-kilogram version is significantly more affordable.

The main advantage remains its depth of just 45 centimeters. With a width of 60 cm and a height of 85 cm, the model fits even into a narrow bathroom, hallway, or under a kitchen counter, where a regular washing machine would be in the way. The body itself measures 42 cm in depth, making it appear even more compact, and its white minimalist design easily blends with its surroundings.

Smart washing from your phone and over 30 programs

At the heart of its features is the connection with the Xiaomi Home application. Through it, you can start or schedule washing remotely, and the software will recommend a suitable program based on your previous habits; thanks to OTA updates, the washing machine will gain new modes over time, which is not common for white goods. You can choose from over 30 programs – 14 of them are on the color touch panel, and the remaining 16 are in the application.

Thorough washing is to be handled by Power Wash technology, which, according to Xiaomi, combines soaking, penetrating water flow, and final rinsing in three steps. The Hygiene steam program then, according to the manufacturer, eliminates up to 99.99% of selected bacteria – however, this is a value from laboratory conditions, which we cannot verify ourselves, so take it with a grain of salt. Those in a hurry will appreciate the fifteen-minute quick wash for one to two kilograms of lightly soiled clothes.

The drum, with a diameter of 525 mm, spins at a speed of up to 1,200 revolutions per minute, and Xiaomi promises energy consumption about a fifth lower than the energy class A limit. A quieter operation is ensured by the double drum suspension with four shock absorbers, which dampen vibrations, especially at higher speeds.
