Xiaomi brought a new pocket photo printer to the Czech Republic. It fits even into the smallest luggage

The compact photo printer Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer 1S is coming to Czech stores, attracting attention primarily with its dimensions and the possibility of instant printing from a mobile phone. It is available in the authorized e-shop mistore.cz for 1,699 CZK, and Alza already has the same price, but the delivery date is not yet known.

Inkless printing thanks to ZINK technology

Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer 1S uses ZINK technology (Zero Ink), which does not require ink cartridges or ribbons. Colors are thermally activated directly in the paper using the print head, which significantly simplifies the entire printing process. It prints photos measuring 50 × 76 mm in approximately 45 seconds.

The printer weighs only 180 grams and, with dimensions of 124 x 82 x 22mm, fits comfortably into a pocket or backpack. Power is provided by a built-in 500mAh battery, which charges via a USB-C port. In addition to the printer itself, the package also includes 5 pieces of self-adhesive photo paper, so you can start printing immediately after unboxing.

Connection via Bluetooth and Xiaomi Home app

You connect to the printer using Bluetooth 5.2, and up to three users can be connected simultaneously. They can then sequentially send photos for printing, which you will appreciate, for example, at family celebrations or parties with friends.

All settings and edits are done in the Xiaomi Home app, which offers 8 different filters for enhancing photos. You can also add personalized frames and watermarks, create collages from multiple images, or split one photo into several parts to create a larger image. The app also includes special templates for pet photos.

Who is the printer suitable for?

The Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer 1S will primarily find use among instant photography enthusiasts who want to have physical memories from trips or social events. Thanks to the self-adhesive paper, you can immediately stick photos into a diary, onto a bulletin board, or use them as decoration. The printer is also suitable for scrapbook creators or as entertainment at children’s parties, where everyone can take home a printed photo as a souvenir. Replacement photo paper Xiaomi ZINK Paper is sold in packs of 20 pieces for 299 CZK.
