Xiaomi has a new mist-free humidifier. It can be connected to a mobile phone and voice-controlled

Chinese technology giant Xiaomi is introducing a new generation of humidifiers. On its domestic market, it unveiled the Mijia Mist-Free Humidifier 3, which uses advanced mist-free evaporation technology and is offered in two performance variants. The smaller model with an output of 400 ml/h starts at approximately 800 CZK in conversion, while the more powerful 600ml/h variant will cost around 1,100 CZK. They will go on sale next week via a crowdfunding campaign.

Mist-free evaporation technology

Unlike conventional ultrasonic humidifiers, the new Mijia humidifier uses natural evaporation technology. This principle eliminates visible mist, which is much safer for electronics in the room and more comfortable for people sensitive to airborne particles. Thanks to this technology, there is no white dust accumulation on furniture, a common problem with ultrasonic models. The humidifier is also equipped with a 3D antibacterial filter that blocks over 99% of bacteria and can be easily washed in a washing machine or by hand.

Two variants for different room sizes

The more powerful model with a capacity of 600 ml/h features a 5-liter tank with silver ion treatment to prevent bacterial growth. It is designed for spaces measuring 20 to 30 square meters, making it an ideal choice for living rooms or larger bedrooms. The smaller variant with an output of 400 ml/h comes with a 4-liter tank designed for up to 18 hours of continuous operation. This model also uses silver ion protection and is particularly suitable for smaller spaces, such as children’s rooms.

Quiet operation and smart features

Both models excel in exceptionally quiet operation. The larger model operates at a noise level of just 30.7 dB, while the smaller version is even quieter at 29.4 dB. This is less than a whisper and ensures that the humidifier will not disturb you even during sleep. The device is equipped with an elegant dome-shaped LED display that shows the current room humidity in real-time.

For even more convenient control, the humidifiers can be connected to the Mi Home app, where you can set the target humidity in the range of 40 to 70%, create schedules, or control the device remotely. The new models are also integrated into the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem and support voice control using the XiaoAI assistant.
