Xiaomi has new Mini LED TVs with breathtaking brightness, up to 330 Hz, and HyperOS 3! The price will surprise you

Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has officially launched the pre-sale of its new S Pro Mini LED 2026 TV series on the domestic market, which brings significant improvements over last year’s generation, especially in terms of picture quality. The TVs will be available in three sizes – 65, 75, and 85 inches.

Massive Leap in Dimming Zones

One of the main attractions of the new TVs is the high number of dimming zones. The basic 65-inch version features 1792 zones, the mid-range 75-inch model has 2304 zones, and the flagship 85-inch variant even boasts 2880 independent dimming zones. Xiaomi is also preparing a 98-inch version with an incredible 3864 zones.

Thanks to the increased number of zones, the TV can more precisely control the backlight in individual parts of the image, leading to better contrast and minimizing the undesirable halo effect around bright objects on a dark background. The maximum brightness has increased from 3,200 nits in the previous generation to a peak of 5200 nits, ensuring excellent image readability even in very bright rooms.

Higher Refresh Rate for Gamers

The new S Pro Mini LED 2026 series offers 4K resolution at 165 Hz, which is an increase compared to 144 Hz in last year’s models. For the most demanding gamers, a special mode with a refresh rate of up to 330 Hz is available, ensuring absolutely smooth visuals in fast-paced games. The TVs utilize a wide-angle, low-reflectivity panel technology, which minimizes reflections and ensures high-quality images from various viewing angles.

HyperOS 3 and Dedicated Image Chip

A key new feature is the HyperOS 3 operating system. This system is designed to offer deeper integration with Xiaomi products and faster response times during operation. The TVs are equipped with a proprietary XM9000 chip specifically designed to enhance picture quality, which works in conjunction with the advanced Master Picture Quality image engine.

The design has also undergone significant changes – the new models boast an ultra-thin bezel measuring just 4.6 mm wide with a black screen edge of only 0.9 mm, creating the impression of an almost bezel-less display.

Improved Audio System and Eye Protection

Compared to last year’s 2× 12.5 W stereo system, the new series comes with an advanced 2.1.2 channel audio system, providing spatial sound for an immersive viewing experience. Xiaomi has also implemented Qingshan Eye Protection technology, designed to protect viewers’ eyesight.

Pricing and Availability

In China, prices start at 6499 yuan (approx. 18,900 CZK) for the 65-inch version, 8199 yuan (23,900 CZK) for the 75-inch model, and 10,499 yuan (30,600 CZK) for the largest 85-inch variant. After pre-sale discounts, prices range from 5199 to 8499 yuan.

There is a certain chance that the new TVs will eventually arrive in European countries, including the Czech Republic, but with some changes. They will almost certainly use the Google TV system and most likely will not offer such a high refresh rate. On the other hand, it’s worth remembering that last year, only the basic S Mini LED TV series came to us, while the Pro versions remained exclusive to China.
