Xiaomi has expanded its portfolio with two new gaming monitors named Gaming Monitor G24i 2026 and Gaming Monitor G27i 2026. The new products differ mainly in screen size – the first offers 23.8 inches, while the second offers 27 inches. Both models utilize Fast IPS technology and target players looking for a monitor with a high refresh rate at a reasonable price.

Fast IPS panel with Full HD resolution

Xiaomi opted for Fast IPS LCD panels with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels for both models. The smaller G24i features a 23.8-inch diagonal, while the larger G27i offers a 27-inch display. Fast IPS technology ensures a faster response time than standard IPS panels while maintaining wide 178-degree viewing angles. The monitors support 8-bit color depth for smooth color transitions.

200Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time

For demanding gamers, both monitors are equipped with a 200Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GTG (gray-to-gray) response time. The monitors support AMD FreeSync Premium technology and are compatible with Nvidia G-Sync. Frame rate synchronization between the graphics card and the monitor ensures a smooth, tear-free image during gameplay.

HDR 400 and wide color gamut

Both models have received HDR 400 certification with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. HDR technology expands the dynamic range of the image – dark areas are deeper, bright parts are brighter. The monitors cover 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color spaces, ensuring accurate color reproduction for graphic work and movie watching.

Each monitor undergoes factory calibration with a resulting accuracy of ΔE<2. This value represents the average color deviation visible to the human eye – the lower the number, the more accurate the color reproduction.

Eye protection and ergonomics

Xiaomi has equipped the monitors with TÜV Low Blue Light certification for blue light filtering. DC dimming technology eliminates screen flickering, which reduces eye fatigue during long periods of use. The Low Blue Light mode is activated manually in the monitor’s OSD menu.

In terms of ergonomics, both models offer forward and backward tilt. Also included is VESA mount support for wall mounting or a monitor arm (the arm must be purchased separately). The G27i model also features a joystick for controlling the OSD menu instead of traditional buttons.

Connectivity and design

The larger G27i model is equipped with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports, as is the smaller one. Xiaomi emphasizes narrow bezels on both monitors for maximum immersion in the game. The design is tuned to the aesthetic of e-sports peripherals with clean lines. The stand includes a cable management system that keeps the desk tidy.

Availability and price

Xiaomi has not yet announced specific launch dates or prices for the new monitors. The G24i 2026 and G27i 2026 models were presented on the manufacturer’s global website, indicating plans for distribution outside the Chinese market. Given the specifications and positioning, competitive, rather lower prices can be expected in the high refresh rate gaming monitor segment.

Who are the monitors suitable for? Thanks to the combination of 200Hz refresh rate, millisecond response time, and FreeSync/G-Sync support, they are primarily suitable for players of competitive games, such as shooters or MOBA titles. If you prefer to spend hours on story-driven games and have a powerful enough graphics card for it, you might prefer a model with a higher resolution (at least QHD).
