Chinese Xiaomi has expanded its portfolio of computer accessories with a new mouse, the Wireless Mouse 3 Color Comfort Edition. Compared to the standard Wireless Mouse 3, which sells in our country for 429 CZK, it offers a modified ergonomic design. The mouse is primarily aimed at office users who will appreciate its quiet operation and the ability to switch between multiple devices.

Asymmetrical Design for a More Comfortable Grip

The Wireless Mouse 3 Color Comfort Edition features an asymmetrical ergonomic shape that fits better in the hand during long-term use. The mouse measures 118.9 × 75.5 × 41.5 mm and weighs only 65 grams, making it a lightweight companion for everyday work. Xiaomi significantly redesigned the side part of the new model, where we find a thumb rest ensuring a more natural grip.

The mouse surface is covered with a special matte finish designed to provide a pleasant touch. Xiaomi offers the mouse in four color variants: black, white, pink, and blue.

Quiet Mechanics from TTC

For the new mouse, Xiaomi, together with TTC, developed special switches that offer a quieter and softer response when clicked. The scroll wheel features a silicone surface for better grip and more precise control. On the sides of the mouse, there are two programmable buttons primarily intended for navigating forward and backward in a browser or file explorer.

Movement tracking is handled by a PixArt optical sensor with 1200 DPI resolution. This is a basic chip designed for office work – gamers and graphic designers will need a more powerful solution. The bottom of the mouse features PTFE glide pads ensuring smooth movement across the mousepad.

Connect Up to Three Devices Simultaneously

The Wireless Mouse 3 Color Comfort Edition supports dual wireless connectivity – via a 2.4GHz USB receiver and Bluetooth 5.0. This allows the mouse to be paired with up to three devices simultaneously (one via USB dongle, two via Bluetooth) and switched between them using a button on the bottom. This feature will be appreciated by users working with multiple computers or a combination of PC and tablet.

Power is provided by one AA battery, which, according to the manufacturer, lasts for several months of operation. On the bottom of the mouse, there is a power switch and buttons for pairing and switching between devices. Xiaomi guarantees compatibility with Windows and macOS.

Availability and Price

The Xiaomi Wireless Mouse 3 Color Comfort Edition is currently sold only in China for 129 yuan, which is approximately 380 CZK without tax. During promotions, the mouse can be purchased for as little as 110 yuan (320 CZK without tax).

Given that the regular Wireless Mouse 3 version has arrived on European markets, there is a chance that the Color Comfort Edition will also appear in domestic stores over time. However, we cannot definitively confirm this.
