Xiaomi is already sending Android 17 to phones in Europe. Who got it first?

HyperOS 3.3 with Android 17 has started to be rolled out by Xiaomi as a public update for its flagship Xiaomi 17 series. According to documented builds, the update is launching simultaneously on European and global models. It is also reaching the Xiaomi 15T Pro model, though for now only in a limited deployment.

The Xiaomi 17 series awaits HyperOS 3.3 in Europe and globally

Both models of the current flagship series are receiving the update. For Xiaomi 17 in Europe, build OS3.0.331.0.XPCEUXM is heading its way, and for Xiaomi 17 Ultra, build OS3.0.332.0.XPAEUXM is ready. This is a so-called public release, meaning wider distribution beyond a narrow circle of testers. In practice, this means that if you also own one of these phones, you should receive the update very soon.

Regarding the overlay, the manufacturer mainly talks about improvements in system stability and smoothness, and a security patch package from June 2026 is included. However, due to Android 17, you must expect a larger update size: according to the XimiTime server, the update size is 7.5 GB for the base model and 9.5 GB for the Ultra version.

As recently as May this year, Android 17 could only be installed on the Xiaomi 17 series as part of a developer preview, which we generally did not recommend to regular owners. Now the system is moving into a public phase, albeit in waves.

Android 17 is also being received by some Xiaomi 15T Pro owners

In addition to the latest series, last year’s mid-range flagship model is also receiving Android 17. Xiaomi 15T Pro is getting the global build OS3.0.331.0.XOSMIXM, but for now only in Mi Pilot mode – meaning a pilot release for a limited number of selected users, which Xiaomi follows up with wider deployment only after verification. The update weighs approximately 7.5 GB and carries the same June security patch.

So, anyone who owns a Xiaomi 15T Pro and doesn’t see any update in the settings yet doesn’t need to worry – they will have to wait a little longer for the wider stable wave via regular OTA.
