Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Shines in Geekbench. It Will Get a Top-Tier Snapdragon, Ample RAM, and HyperOS 3

Even before Xiaomi officially unveils its next flagship tablet, a device designated as Pad 8 Pro has appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database. The test results revealed not only a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, but also a generous amount of RAM and the latest version of Android. The new device is expected to arrive this month, but for now, only on the Chinese market.

Performance Worthy of a Flagship

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is hidden in the Geekbench database under model number 25091RP04C and achieved a score of 2967 points in the single-core and 9485 points in the multi-core test. Notebookcheck notes that compared to the previous generation, this represents a 48% increase in single-core performance and even an 87% improvement in multi-core tests.

The benchmark further revealed that the tested model features 16 GB of RAM, which is the highest configuration Xiaomi offers for its tablets. However, variants with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM will likely also be available. Interestingly, the tablet will run on Android 16 with the HyperOS 3 overlay, making it one of the first devices with this system version.

What Else Can We Expect

According to earlier leaks, the Pad 8 Pro should get a battery with a capacity of around 10,000 mAh with support for 67W fast charging. Internally, the tablet carries the codename piano/P81, while the base model Pad 8 is reportedly codenamed yupei/P82. The latter should receive a less powerful mid-range processor, similar to the previous generation.

Xiaomi has a series of product launches scheduled for the end of September. While the global unveiling of the Xiaomi 15T phone series will take place on September 24, the Xiaomi 16 flagships are expected to be revealed around a similar date in China. Alongside them, we can anticipate the unveiling of new tablets or other smart devices.

Xiaomi Brought a Pro Tablet to the Czech Republic for the First Time This Year

Let’s recall that Xiaomi only introduced the Pro version of its tablet to the Czech market for the first time this March. The Pad 7 Pro model arrived here for 13,499 CZK in the 8+256 GB configuration or for 14,999 CZK with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The base Pad 7 then started at 8,999 CZK for the variant with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

Both current models share an 11.2″ LCD display with a resolution of 3000 × 2000 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Pad 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and offers a 13Mpx camera with 45W charging. The more powerful Pad 7 Pro received the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a 50Mpx main camera, and faster 67W charging. Both tablets have an 8850 mAh battery and a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.
