The brand's most powerful vacuum cleaner can cross thresholds and boasts insane features Home News Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max has appeared on the manufacturer's global website, having previously only been sold in China It boasts 35,000 Pa suction, three mechanical arms, and bionic legs that can climb over thresholds up to 6 cm high The price for European markets has not yet been confirmed; in China, after subsidies, it cost approximately 15,000 CZK (converted) Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 25. 6. 2026 06:30 Advertisement When the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max appeared in China, we wrote that we wouldn’t bet on its arrival in Europe. However, the vacuum cleaner has now appeared on Xiaomi’s global website, which clearly indicates the manufacturer’s plan to launch it in other regions – quite possibly including the Czech Republic and other European countries. Let’s take a look at what makes its features so interesting. Why did the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max appear on the global website? In China, the vacuum cleaner is sold under the name Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Max. For the rest of the world, however, the manufacturer has renamed it to Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max and created a separate product page for it on its global website. This is usually the first step before a device appears in regional e-shops. The most visible change is voice control. While the Chinese version offers the Xiao Ai assistant, the global model relies on Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa – services that make sense for European and American households. The robot itself communicates with the Xiaomi Home app and the Xiaomi HyperOS Connect ecosystem, allowing it to connect with devices like air purifiers or humidifiers. 35,000 Pa Suction and a Mop that Washes Itself Under Running Water The main draw remains the suction power of 35,000 Pa. Xiaomi labels it as the highest in its own range of robotic vacuum cleaners, approaching competitors like the Roborock Saros 20, which can reach up to 36,000 Pa. Even so, this is a figure that typical mid-range models (roughly 5,000–10,000 Pa) have no chance of offering. Hair that constantly gets tangled in the brush is handled by the main brush with blades for cutting them and anti-tangle side brushes. A new feature is the roller mop, which cleans itself under running water in real-time. A system with sixteen outlet holes keeps the pad consistently wet, and constant pressure resembling a human hand is designed to tackle even dried coffee or ketchup stains. Furthermore, thanks to a triple-lifting system, the robot separates dry vacuuming from wet mopping – both the brush and the mop lift themselves according to the situation. Three Arms and Legs: How Does It Conquer Corners and Thresholds? The vacuum cleaner boasts a trio of mechanical arms. An extendable side brush, a rotating roller along the walls, and a retractable corner mopping pad work together to clean room edges and the space around furniture legs, areas often inaccessible to single-arm models. The manufacturer had the edge cleaning certified by the TÜV Rheinland testing laboratory. Even more interesting are the bionic double legs. The robot can use them to climb over obstacles and thresholds up to 6 centimeters high, allowing it to easily move from the living room to the balcony or kitchen. For low spaces, it has a retractable LiDAR that folds down, enabling the robot to pass under furniture with a gap of just 9.3 cm. It Even Sees a 3mm Headphone Cable Navigation within the apartment is handled by a trio of cameras with AI recognition. According to Xiaomi, the system can recognize over 320 types of objects and dirt – specifically, 200 types of obstacles, 80 pieces of furniture, and 47 types of stains. It also boasts the ability to detect an object as small as a 3mm headphone cable and avoid it in time to prevent tangling. The built-in camera also functions as a baby monitor – through the Xiaomi Home app, you can check in on your pets at home anytime. However, it’s good to remember that both recognition and camera monitoring are turned off by default and must be manually enabled. Self-Washing and Self-Emptying Station The robot is complemented by an equally feature-packed docking station. After cleaning, it automatically washes its mops with hot water up to 85 °C and dries them with warm air at 50 °C, preventing them from becoming musty. The collected dirt is transferred into a bag, which, according to the manufacturer, can last up to 75 days without manual emptying. A 6,400 mAh battery ensures extended cleaning, and it also features a child lock and OTA updates. The robot has received a new warm gray finish and a light ring that subtly changes brightness depending on what it’s currently doing. Price and Availability And now for the main question – how much will it cost and where can you buy it? Xiaomi has not yet announced the price for European markets or specific countries, which is typical. For now, we can only recall the Chinese prices: after accounting for local government subsidies on electronics, the model cost approximately 15,000 CZK (4,899 yuan) when converted. In our market, it will naturally be more expensive, and we would estimate that the final amount will exceed 20,000 CZK. Would you be tempted by a robot at home that can cross thresholds between rooms?
