A month ago, Xiaomi brought theH50 series robotic vacuum cleaners to the Czech market, which belong to the mid-range and attract with clever navigation and a practical docking station. Both models are priced under 12 thousand, with the cheaper model starting at 8,499 crowns. The more advanced Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro arrived at the editorial office a few weeks ago and we are currently testing it – so you can expect a review in the near future.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50: they map the home and take care of themselves

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 series robotic vacuum cleaners share several key features. First and foremost, both models feature laser navigation, allowing them to perform a 360° scan of the home. Based on this, they create a virtual map and plan their cleaning routes to be efficient and miss as few spots as possible.

Another advantage is that thanks to the intelligent docking station, both vacuum cleaners require absolutely minimal care. The base has its own dust bag, into which the vacuum cleaner automatically empties the dirt it collected during cleaning upon arrival. According to the manufacturer, one such bag lasts up to 75 days. The station also features the ability to scrub and dry the mopping pads, eliminating another annoying chore.

Adding to the convenience is the option of control via the Xiaomi Home mobile application, which allows for various preference adjustments (cleaning mode, mopping pad cleaning method, carpet vacuuming method, etc.) and can send cleaning reports or display an estimate of the remaining time until completion in real-time. You can also set forbidden zones where the vacuum cleaner is not allowed to enter (typically, for example, a child’s room full of scattered building block parts).

The Pro model stands out with strong suction and an extendable arm

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro model for 11,999 CZK, which we have available in the editorial office, differs from its cheaper sibling primarily in higher suction power – specifically, it boasts 15,000 Pa, which is a very good value in this price category (the basic H50 then offers “only” 10,000 Pa).

The more expensive of the two can also extend the side brush and mopping pad towards the edges of the room, so dirt won’t escape it even in corners (and you won’t have to go around with a handheld vacuum or mop). And although it also relies on laser navigation, technologically it is still a bit more advanced in this regard – Xiaomi highlights its millimeter-precise obstacle avoidance, even in low light conditions.

We will detail how reliable the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro will be in practice in our review. However, purely looking at the parameters and features declared by the manufacturer, it appears to be a seemingly excellent successor to the X20 Pro model.
