Xiaomi Smart Band 11 is heading to Europe. The band has been officially introduced for markets outside China

In early September, Xiaomi introduced a new generation of its best-selling band in China, and now the expected next step is coming. Xiaomi Smart Band 11 has received its own page on the manufacturer’s global website, thus heading to Europe. However, when and for how much you can buy it in the Czech Republic is not yet certain.

Display with greater brightness and thinner design

The core remains similar to the Chinese version. The band features a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 212 × 520 pixels, two-millimeter bezels, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The main improvement over its predecessor is brightness – Xiaomi states a peak of 2,000 nits, and 1,500 nits in high brightness mode. The body with an aluminum frame has a thickness of 9.99 mm, which, according to the manufacturer, is 9% less than the Smart Band 10, and weighs 15.58 grams without the strap.

The global offering includes three colors – Midnight Black, Glacier Silver, and Mystic Rose. Alongside them, a Pearl White ceramic edition with a white ceramic cover will also arrive, which is slightly heavier (21.45 g without the strap). The specifications table also lists an NFC variant, but whether it will reach the Czech market is not yet known.

Health, sport, and better iPhone compatibility

Heart rate is measured by a new sensor with two LED diodes and two photodiodes, which, according to Xiaomi, should provide more accurate results. All-day monitoring of blood oxygenation, stress, and menstrual cycle is also included. The sleep assistant now evaluates what affects your sleep quality and offers recommendations based on recorded habits. Athletes can choose from over 150 modes; the band can transmit heart rate via Bluetooth to a cycling computer, measures it even underwater, and is water-resistant up to 5 ATM.

An interesting new feature is notifications from two phones simultaneously. If you have both an iPhone and a Xiaomi phone with HyperOS 3 or newer, the band will display notifications from both – however, you need the Xiaomi Interconnectivity app and the same Xiaomi account for this. For iPhone owners, the Smart Band 11 will also serve as a remote camera shutter, and on both Android and iOS, you can browse short videos, e-books, or presentations with it.

Battery capacity remained at 233 mAh. Xiaomi promises up to 21 days of battery life with light use, 10 days with commonly enabled features, and six days with the always-on display. Charging with the magnetic charger should take approximately 90 minutes.

How much might it cost in the Czech Republic?

The global website does not yet state the price, and pages for the Czech Republic, Germany, or Poland are not yet active. For reference: in China, the basic version costs 289 yuan, which is approximately 1,100 CZK with tax, the NFC variant would be about 1,300 CZK with tax, and the ceramic edition about 1,500 CZK with tax.

The previous Smart Band 10 started at 1,099 CZK in our country, with the ceramic version at 1,499 CZK.
