The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 relies on a significantly brighter display, a thinner and lighter body, and most importantly, battery life, which the manufacturer promises for up to three weeks without a charger. The band aims for simple health and fitness tracking for weeks without wearing heavy smartwatches on your wrist. When the new device leaked in late August, we wrote about four versions and a September release date – both are now confirmed. What’s better about the Smart Band 11 than before? At the heart of the new device is a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 212 × 520 pixels and thin two-millimeter bezels. The panel remained the same size as last year, but the maximum brightness jumped to 2,000 nits, roughly a third higher than its predecessor. According to the manufacturer, you will be able to see the display even in direct sunlight. Despite the improved display, the body is thinner and lighter. Xiaomi states a thickness of 9.99 mm and a weight of 15.58 grams for the metal version without a strap. HyperOS 4 handles the software, and the band works with both Android phones and iPhones, for which the company promises fewer restrictions when synchronizing notifications. Xiaomi claims up to 21 days of battery life on a single charge, which is the aforementioned roughly three weeks between two charger visits. However, this is a manufacturer’s claim that we cannot independently verify in the editorial office. What features and sensors does it offer? The band has 5ATM water resistance, so it can withstand swimming up to approximately fifty meters. Sensors include heart rate measurement, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), stress tracking, and an advanced sleep mode with HRV analysis and evaluation using artificial intelligence. For heart rate and SpO2, Xiaomi promises more accurate measurements than before. Xiaomi Smart Band 11 is here.
