Xiaomi Smart Band 11 leaked in four versions. A new all-metal edition will also arrive

Affordable smart bands from Xiaomi have been among the best-selling wearable electronics for years, and their new generation is already knocking on the door. The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 has appeared in the Xiaomi Health Research app, in no less than four versions. Besides the regular and NFC versions, a ceramic and, most importantly, a brand new all-metal edition are also planned.

What versions appeared in the app?

The new generation was reported by the Chinese website MyDrivers, which tracked it down directly in Xiaomi Health Research – an application through which the manufacturer collects data for its health research. According to the leak, the list contains four models: the standard Smart Band 11, an NFC version, a ceramic edition, and an all-metal edition. Indicative renders were also shown for some of them.

It’s interesting that earlier certifications only mentioned the standard and NFC variants. Thus, the ceramic and all-metal editions are fresh additions that were previously unknown.

What does “all-metal edition” mean?

No one knows exactly yet. The designation suggests that there will be more metal on the band than on a regular model, but the app does not reveal whether it will be the entire body, just the frame, or something in between. Xiaomi currently sells the Smart Band 10 in an aluminum alloy version and a ceramic edition – however, none of them are referred to as “all-metal”. The new edition could thus sit at the very top of the entire series.

When will the band arrive and what do we know about its features?

A specific date is still missing, but according to MyDrivers, the Smart Band 11 could be unveiled as early as September, likely alongside other new products, led by the flagship Xiaomi 18. We don’t know much about the features themselves yet. A pair of devices with model numbers M2616B1 and M2617B1 passed Chinese certification in June, and according to it, the bands will reportedly carry a 233 mAh battery, the same as the previous generation.
