An alleged photo of the car was published by the @EVchargingCZ account on the X platform, stating that it was taken in Brno – and we saw nothing that would in any way question its authenticity. Behind the car with camouflage and a significant number of cameras, vehicles with domestic license plates, including a Škoda, are even visible. Seventh prototype in Europe Heading to the European market next year Seventh prototype in Europe The captured car bears the designation 007 on its body and is one of many other prototypes currently being tested on European roads. Already in March, we reported that the electric car had been spotted in France, Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands. All cars (including the one photographed here) carry German license plates, suggesting that Xiaomi is using Germany as a base for European homologation. Copak jsem to dnes potkal v Brně? Že by Xiaomi SU7? 😯🤔 pic.twitter.com/HH7HHZyPm6— EV Nabíjení (@EVchargingCZ) April 10, 2026 All vehicles in the photos published so far are equipped with camouflage and numerous external cameras. These serve to collect data for calibrating the HAD (Hyper Autonomous Driving) autonomous driving system, which Xiaomi is developing as a competitor to Tesla Full Self-Driving. The car reportedly spotted in Brno corresponds in design to those captured on roads across Europe. Heading to the European market next year The Xiaomi SU7 is an electric sedan that the Chinese manufacturer first introduced in March 2024. The basic version features a single electric motor with an output of 220 kW, while the top-tier SU7 Ultra variant offers a three-motor powertrain with a total output of over 1,100 kW. The range of the first-generation basic version, according to the Chinese CLTC cycle, reaches up to 700 km. Xiaomi officially announced its plan to enter the European market in 2027. Given the intensity of testing, it would be surprising if the company did not achieve this goal, and perhaps we would not be so surprised if it managed to beat this timeline.
