Xiaomi unveiled a new flagship vacuum cleaner. Robot Vacuum 7 Max will offer immense suction power and smarter mopping Home News Xiaomi introduced the Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 7 Max robotic vacuum cleaner in China The new model boasts 45,000 Pa suction power and mops floors with hot water Meanwhile, its predecessor, the 6 Max, only recently went on sale in the Czech Republic Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 12. 10. 2026 14:30 Advertisement With high-end robotic vacuum cleaners, things are starting to look similar to phones: no sooner do you bring a new model home than the manufacturer is already showing off its successor. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max only recently arrived in Czech stores, and pre-sales for the Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 7 Max have already begun in China. It sucks even more powerfully and tackles dried grease in the kitchen with hot water. Suction Increased to 45,000 Pa Xiaomi calls the new model the most powerful vacuum cleaner in the Mijia lineup, with suction reaching 45,000 Pa. The previous 6 Max topped out at 35,000 Pa, so the manufacturer has added roughly a third. However, this is a maximum value stated by Xiaomi itself, and how much of it remains during typical carpet cleaning, we cannot currently verify. For hair and pet fur, there’s a main brush that trims them directly during cleaning, and a pair of anti-tangle side brushes. The 7 Max also inherits three mechanical arms from its predecessor, which extend to wall edges, corners, and furniture legs. Key Innovations Concern Mopping Mopping is the main draw of the new model. The docking station, which this time is also equipped with a display, fills the robot with water heated up to 60 °C, which the roller mop then uses. According to Xiaomi, this removes 99.99% of bacteria from the floor. Another new feature is heating directly within the robot’s body. When the vacuum cleaner recognizes a kitchen or bathroom, it starts spraying water at 50 °C onto the floor, which is intended to better dissolve dried grease. The nozzles are directed downwards, so the robot should not spray extension cords or items placed on the floor. During mopping, the robot simultaneously wipes dirty water from the roller, so it should not spread dirt it has already collected. Furthermore, upon returning to the station, a stirrer in the dirty water tank activates to prevent dirt from settling and causing odors. Why Doesn’t It Have a Turret on Its Back? The 6 Max model had to retract its extendable LiDAR when encountering low furniture. The successor instead has a 3D laser sensor built directly into its body, so nothing protrudes above the chassis. It can get under a sofa or bed if there is at least 9.3 cm of clearance beneath them, just like its predecessor, but without extending and retracting. It can overcome thresholds and small steps up to 6 cm high. According to the manufacturer, the AI camera recognizes more than 320 objects and types of dirt, such as cables, slippers, or sofas, and adjusts cleaning accordingly. Thus, it should not get tangled in cables or bump into toys. How Much Does It Cost and When Might It Arrive in the Czech Republic? In China, the 7 Max is sold in two versions. The variant with water tanks costs 4,999 yuan, roughly 16,200 CZK, while the version directly connected to water supply and drainage costs 5,299 yuan (about 17,200 CZK). With discounts and government subsidies for electronics, the price drops by approximately 500 yuan. The 6 Max model, meanwhile, started at 6,599 yuan in China, so the successor enters the market significantly cheaper. Whether and when the new model will appear in Europe has not yet been announced by Xiaomi. Meanwhile, its predecessor traveled a long road: it was introduced in China in March, as we wrote then, appeared on the manufacturer’s global website in June, and only now arrived in domestic stores. If the 7 Max follows the same path, we would likely see it in the Czech Republic next year at the earliest. What Does the Robot Vacuum 6 Max, Available Now, Offer? Those who don’t want to wait can opt for the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max, which Alza sells for 27,999 CZK. It offers 35,000 Pa suction, a roller mop continuously moistened by sixteen nozzles, three mechanical arms, and bionic legs that can climb over thresholds up to 6 cm. AI cameras recognize over 320 types of objects and stains, including thin headphone cables. KOUPIT XIAOMI ROBOT VACUUM 6 MAX After cleaning, the station washes its mop with water up to 85 °C, dries it with warm air, and transfers dust into a bag that, according to the manufacturer, should last approximately 75 days. However, the 6 Max only washes the mop in the station with hot water; the manufacturer does not mention mopping with heated water. You can control it via the Xiaomi Home app, by voice through Google Assistant or Alexa. Would you wait for the 7 Max, or would the 6 Max already be sufficient for your home?
