Xiaomi has a dense offering of cleaning technology, and another addition has just arrived. The new Mijia Vacuum Cleaner 4 C entices with dust illumination, five-stage filtration, and decent battery life, but in terms of features and performance, it ranks a step below the G30 Max stick vacuum cleaner, which you can already purchase in the Czech Republic today.

What can the new Mijia Vacuum Cleaner 4 C do?

At the heart of the new product is a brushless motor with a power input of 450 W, which spins up to 110,000 revolutions per minute and delivers 170 AW of suction power. It draws energy from a seven-cell battery with a capacity of 2,600 mAh, which, according to the manufacturer, allows you to clean for up to 75 minutes in eco mode. Three power levels are available (Eco, Standard, and High-Power), so you can adjust the suction power to the floor and the level of mess.

The main draw is the 180° blue illumination, which makes otherwise invisible dust visible up to 30 centimeters in front of the nozzle. A five-stage filtration system ensures clean exhaust; according to Xiaomi, it captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns (this is a laboratory figure that we cannot independently verify). The package includes a universal floor nozzle, an electric anti-mite brush, and a 2-in-1 crevice tool; a tangle-free system takes care of tangled hair. You can empty the full container with a single press of a button, and the filters are washable.

How does it compare to the G30 Max, which you can buy in our country?

The new 4 C is more of an affordable piece, while the G30 Max aims a class higher. We wrote about the latter during its Czech launch: it offers 280 AW suction power, 25,000 Pa vacuum pressure, and up to 90 minutes of battery life (seventy with the electric brush).

The differences go even further. The more powerful model cleans via a fourteen-cell cyclonic array with a five-layer filter and 99.98% capture rate, boasts a 0.8-liter dustbin, and in automatic mode, it monitors the amount of dirt with a sensor and adjusts power accordingly. Additionally, you get eight nozzles in the box. All of this is missing from the new model – it relies on a lower price and a lighter, simpler concept.

Price and Availability

The Mijia Vacuum Cleaner 4 C is currently sold in China for 799 yuan, which is roughly 2,500 Czech crowns. Although the global product page is already live, the manufacturer has not specified when and for how much it will arrive in the Czech Republic – and expect the domestic price to be usually somewhat higher than the Chinese one.

If you’re tackling cleaning right now, you have a clear choice in our country: You can buy the G30 Max on Alza for approximately 8,499 Czech crowns. For that money, you get significantly higher performance and richer accessories – a different league than the affordable new model, albeit for noticeably more money.

Would you bet on the more affordable Mijia Vacuum Cleaner 4 C, or rather on the more powerful G30 Max?
