Xiaomi unveiled a premium handheld vacuum cleaner with a display, illumination, and high performance

Chinese Xiaomi has expanded its home appliance portfolio with a new premium handheld vacuum cleaner, the Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max. The new product boasts a powerful motor with 280 AW suction power, long battery life, and smart features, aiming to compete with established brands like Dyson. The price has not yet been officially announced, but given its features, it is expected to be positioned in the premium category.

Performance exceeding the previous generation by half

The Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max features a brushless motor that generates 280 AW of suction power and 25,000 Pa of vacuum pressure. Compared to the previous G11 model, this represents a 51% increase in performance. Such power can vacuum not only dust and hair but also larger debris like spilled cereals or party remnants.

An interesting feature is the 14-cone cyclone technology, which effectively separates dust from air and prevents filter clogging. This ensures stable suction power throughout use. Additionally, the vacuum cleaner includes a 5-stage filtration system with an efficiency of 99.98%, capturing particles as small as 0.3 micrometers, including pollen, dust mites, and other allergens.

Intelligent dust detection with LED display

The G30 Max offers three operating modes: Eco, Auto, and Turbo. In automatic mode, the dust sensor continuously monitors the amount of dirt and adjusts the suction power accordingly. The contamination status is shown on an LED display, which color-codes the dust level – white means clean, orange indicates light contamination, and red signifies heavy contamination.

The display also shows the current mode, remaining battery capacity, and any error messages. Furthermore, the electric brush head includes an LED light that illuminates dark corners and areas under furniture, ensuring no dust is missed.

Up to 90 minutes of battery life on a single charge

The vacuum cleaner is powered by a 4,000 mAh lithium-polymer battery, which provides up to 90 minutes of operation in eco mode with the 2-in-1 crevice tool. With the electric brush head, the battery life reaches 70 minutes. Compared to the previous G11 generation, this is a 50% increase in battery life. The battery uses a multi-cell structure that reduces internal resistance and improves charging efficiency and safety.

Eight different nozzles for versatile use

The package includes a complete set of 8 accessories. The main electric brush head features anti-tangle comb teeth that minimize hair entanglement. Other accessories include a mini electric brush for upholstery, a special pet brush for grooming and vacuuming fur, a 2-in-1 crevice tool, a sofa brush, and a 2-in-1 wide nozzle.

An interesting feature is the two-way bendable tube, which can bend up to 90 degrees. This allows you to easily vacuum dust under beds or furniture without having to bend down. When the nozzle is attached in the opposite direction, you can comfortably reach high shelves or cabinets. An extension hose is also included for even greater reach.

Practical features for comfortable use

Xiaomi also considered practical details. The vacuum cleaner has an 800ml dustbin with one-button emptying, so you don’t have to touch the dirt. The wall mount combines a charging station with storage for the 4 most frequently used nozzles. Furthermore, the filter is washable under running water, saving money on replacement parts.

With features including a powerful motor, long battery life, smart functions, and extensive accessories, the Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max appears to be an interesting alternative to premium brands. The official price has not yet been announced, but given its specifications, it is expected to be positioned in the upper-mid range of handheld vacuum cleaners.
