Xiaomi is constantly expanding its smart home product portfolio, and this time it has ventured into the laundry room. The Mijia Washing Machine Top-Loading 10kg has just arrived on the Chinese market, combining compact dimensions with smart features. Priced at 799 yuan (approximately 2,500 CZK converted), it offers mobile connectivity and integration into the Xiaomi ecosystem.

Compact Design with Large Capacity

The new Xiaomi washing machine immediately catches the eye with its rounded minimalist design in white, which fits practically into any home. Although it occupies a footprint of only 0.3 m², it offers a full capacity of 10 kg. According to the manufacturer, you can load up to 45 T-shirts, 12 pairs of jeans, or 4 complete sets of bedding at once.

The washing machine features 10 washing modes, including a special wool program, and 8 water level settings. It can automatically adjust the water amount according to the weight of the laundry, which should contribute to saving energy and water. Xiaomi also emphasizes 100% effectiveness in removing mites and first-class energy efficiency according to Chinese classification.

Smart Features Thanks to HyperOS Connect

The main appeal of the new washing machine is its integration into the Xiaomi ecosystem through HyperOS Connect technology. The device can be controlled via the Xiaomi Home app, where you can remotely start programs, monitor washing progress, or adjust settings.

Thanks to its connection with other Xiaomi products, the washing machine can cooperate, for example, with the Xiao AI voice assistant, which will notify you when the washing cycle is complete. Theoretically, you can also set up automatic lighting in the laundry room once washing finishes. In addition to the app, a classic touch control panel is, of course, also available directly on the washing machine.

Unlikely to See Release Outside China

The Mijia Washing Machine Top-Loading 10kg is currently only available in China, where it will almost certainly remain (at least, this is indicated by the manufacturer’s past approach, which has been seen with most previously launched appliances). However, in our region, the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer Pro 9kg can be purchased for 12,999 CZK; it was introduced late last year.
