Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has introduced its new robotic assistant, the Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro. This is the most advanced model in this product line to date, which the manufacturer refers to as the “most powerful AI-powered cleaning unit” in its portfolio. The new product offers an extremely high suction power of 23,000 Pa, smart obstacle recognition using three cameras, and an advanced self-cleaning base.

Artificial Intelligence Sees Everything

The main advantage of the new robot vacuum cleaner is its AI panoramic recognition system utilizing three cameras. Thanks to this technology, the device can identify over 200 different types of objects and distinguish up to 47 types of dirt. The manufacturer states that this recognition is at the level of the human eye, ensuring significantly more precise cleaning and more effective obstacle avoidance.

The Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro is equipped with dual robotic arms for simultaneous vacuuming and mopping, an intelligent laser radar with height detection, and a special system for cleaning along walls and in corners. For maximum performance, the new product boasts a suction power of 23,000 Pa, which is one of the highest values available on the robot vacuum cleaner market.

The Base That Takes Care of Everything

Included in the package is an advanced self-cleaning base, which dramatically simplifies maintenance. It not only recharges the robot vacuum cleaner but also automatically empties the dirt bin, with the built-in container lasting up to 75 days without needing replacement. Furthermore, the base itself cleans the mopping pads at a high temperature of up to 80°C for perfect disinfection.

An interesting feature is the intelligent dirty water detection, which activates repeated mop cleaning if needed. The base also provides fast hot air drying, which takes a maximum of 2 hours and effectively prevents mold and odor. In the more equipped version with water inlet and outlet, the base can also automatically refill clean water and add cleaning solution.

Smart Features and Ecosystem Integration

The robot vacuum cleaner fully integrates into the Xiaomi smart home ecosystem. It supports voice control via the XiaoAi assistant and HyperOS Connect technology for connecting with other devices. Through the mobile application, users can set cleaning schedules, define restricted zones, or start the vacuum cleaner remotely.

The Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro comes in two versions – a standard version with a water tank and a premium version with a built-in water inlet and outlet. In China, the models are officially available for 4,999 yuan (approximately 14,800 CZK) and 5,999 yuan (approx. 17,800 CZK), but thanks to current discounts on JD.com and government subsidies, they can be purchased from as low as 3,399 yuan (about 10,100 CZK).
