If you’ve been considering buying a large TV with Mini LED backlighting but were put off by the price, we have good news. The popular 65″ TCL Q7C has returned below the psychological threshold of twenty thousand Czech crowns at Alza. Instead of the original 24,990 CZK, it now costs 19,992 CZK (with code ALZADNY20), which represents a saving of almost five thousand Czech crowns. This is a 2025 model, which is among the best-equipped TVs in its price category.

Mini LED with 1008 Dimming Zones

The TCL Q7C utilizes QD-Mini LED technology, which combines the advantages of QLED and local dimming. The TV features 1008 independent dimming zones, allowing it to display deep blacks alongside bright areas without unwanted light bleed. Peak brightness reaches 2,600 nits, which you’ll especially appreciate when watching HDR content in a well-lit room.

The HVA panel offers a native contrast ratio of around 7000:1, which is significantly higher than conventional IPS panels. Additionally, TCL has equipped the screen with an anti-reflective coating that suppresses reflections from ambient lighting. The TV supports all extended HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG.

Gaming Features and 144 Hz

For gamers, the 144Hz refresh rate (in game mode) combined with four HDMI 2.1 ports is crucial. The TV supports VRR and ALLM technologies for automatic switching to low-latency mode. A Game Bar is also available for quick adjustment of display parameters directly during gameplay.

The AiPQ Pro processor enhances the picture using artificial intelligence algorithms. Its functions include intelligent contrast adjustment, color optimization, and MEMC technology for motion smoothing when watching sports or action movies.

Sound by Bang & Olufsen and Google TV

The TV’s audio system is branded Audio by Bang & Olufsen. The speaker system with a total output of 30 W includes a built-in subwoofer and supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X spatial sound. However, for more demanding users, a soundbar will still be a better choice.

The Google TV system provides access to streaming services such as Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, and the Czech Oneplay. Voice control via Google Assistant and wireless screen mirroring using Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2 are available.

What Users Say in Reviews

On Alza, the TCL 65Q7C has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars from 25 customers, with 96% of them recommending the TV. The return rate is only 0.15%, which indicates solid reliability.

Users most often praise the picture quality, the speed of the Google TV system, and the overall price/performance ratio. Satisfaction with the sharpness and colors of the Mini LED panel is repeatedly mentioned. Some customers also appreciate the sound, although others would prefer better bass.

Among the negative observations, the need for initial picture fine-tuning is repeated – several reviewers state that after unboxing, the picture was worse due to factory eco settings and required adjustments. The central stand leg also received criticism, which some find less stable than a classic two-legged solution. Occasionally, there are complaints about image stuttering in some IPTV applications.

Who is the TCL Q7C suitable for

The TCL 65Q7C represents an interesting choice for those looking for a large TV with Mini LED technology under 20,000 CZK. The combination of high brightness, local dimming, and a 144Hz refresh rate makes it a versatile machine for both movies and console gaming.

It will be less suitable for users who expect a perfect picture right out of the box without any tuning. Similarly, if you need a wall-mounted TV with a tilting bracket and dislike a thin design, you might appreciate more robust models. For those who demand the absolute best blacks and infinite contrast, OLED remains an unsurpassed choice – but at a significantly higher price.
